  1. Hey there - I like this skirt a lot but have never worn it in the 2.5 months I've owned it. I just can't seem to make it work with anything. I've found that browns seem to go more than blacks when I try it on. It's like it surprisingly doesn't look good with any of my black shoes. Maybe I have to wear black tights too? Anymore ideas on this one?

  2. PS. It has to be a heavy-walking friendly look. I can't do high heels :( Thanks!!

  4. Hi Jcrewbug! Have you tried wearing the skirt with Navy or basic white? I agree that browns work much better than black with it, too. What about wearing it with brown knee boots or your clogs? I like the idea of either of those with a white button down and cardigan in navy, brown, or your heather mushroom tartine. I made a set awhile back that had numerous looks in it, so you could perhaps use it for inspiration and also subsitute flats in place of the heels: Click Here . HTH!!!

  5. THank you! I just bought the portland cardi in navy. I'll see how that works!

I can't wear boots at the hospital, just not comfortable for that long of a day. I'll try some more of my clarks and see how it goes. :) I just got a new pair of ankle boots, like shooties, in a ligtht brown. Hopefully they work.

  6. FFM, thanks again for the sets here :) I was also thinking about pairing this with a navy jackie and a white button down. Seems like I was on the right track, as you recommended this to JCrewBug as well! I think I'll have to try this out IRL...
