What I'm Wearing Today/Christmas Eve 12.24.08 by FFM

We are having Christmas early with both sets of Grandparents today (at different times), and this is what I'm wearing for the celebrations. :) Tomorrow will be our own official Family Christmas for my husband, myself, and our 4 boys, as Santa is coming tonight...how EXCITING!!!

  1. Cute outfit FFM! Are those the ultra dark matchsticks? I love black/white combo. Never goes out of style. What do you do with your hair? Down or up?

  2. Thanks JenG.! I am wearing my hair down today...trying to do that a lot more often now. The shoes were actually fairly comfortable for awhile, too. :) Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

  5. MERRY CHRISTMAS, FFM! We are still snowed in. We never have a white Christmas in the Pacific NW! Wow. I am missing my Christmas dinner at my mother's!

On the Juliet's....are they really that uncomfortable? I jusy got them in dark poppy and I want to wear them out! But not if they are uber painful...any thoughts?

  6. MERRY CHRISTMAS JenG.! :) I am really envious that you have a White Christmas...it must be beautiful, even if you are snowed in! I'm sorry you are missing dinner at your mom's though!

As for the Juliet's...I have heard that the regular one's stretch out a bit more than the Safari's do. They weren't painful in the beginning, but after I stood for awhile, and my feet started to swell a bit they got a little tighter and uncomfortable, but not so much that I couldn't walk or anything. I would say to try them in the house for a couple of hours and see how they feel after that. :) Good Luck...let me know what happens...the Dark Poppy is so pretty!

  7. Thanks! The dark poppy is very striking. I sized up and they seem to be fine, but I have heard the stories... I wasn't planning on keeping them, but they are just so pretty. I LOVE a red shoe. They would look great with your black and white ensemble...

I have several children and don't mind chasing the two year old in a pretty shoe. I will wear them on carpet a bit tomorrow (when DH is at work) and make my final decision. I am leaning toward keeping them...

A white Christmas is nice. I am happy about it, I have just been snowed in for over a week and want it to go away now. Before the kids get full on cabin fever! I am thankful though...It is pretty.
