The Cashmere Harper Sweater in Crisp Celery

The Cashmere Harper Sweater in Crisp Celery by FFM

I think this sweater would also look really pretty with the Bistro Pant in Stone.

  1. I LOVE this and put this outfit in my shopping cart today. I didn't buy it yet however, as I am curious about the sizing of the sweater since the winter sweaters - pullover and cardigan alike, I sized down.

Have you purchased/seen this sweater IRL?

    Thanks.

  2. Are the pants in the warm blush shade?
    Thanks.

  3. Hi Anon@11:17! I haven't seen this sweater IRL, since my B&M doesn't carry Cashmere, unfortunately. I do however LOVE the shape and style of it. :) I would suggest calling CS for measurements to find the correct size. HTH!

Hi Anon@12:22! :) The cafe' capris are the Warm Blush shade.

  4. FFM: I just want to say a big thank you for your beautiful sets!!

You have made me more aware of colors and pairings, and I feel that my wardrobe has so many possibilities unlike in the past when I have no clue what to wear. Your impeccable taste and chic has also made me more aware of my purchases. I now ask myself, how would FFM style this, before I splurge on an item. As a result, I get so much more mileage out of my purchases and see them as a total outfit rather than whimsical, random buys. I used to buy and buy and still have nothing to wear. THANK YOU!

  5. Cute outfit! Where are the earrings from?

  6. Oh nevermind--just clicked on the set and realized you can see where the items are from!

  7. FFM,

I say, "Ditto!" to anonymous @ 3:51 sentiments. I would love to see warm blush cafe capris in more sets. I am wondering if it is wise for me to try that color being a 6/8 on the bottom?

    Thanks,
    Athena

  8. Anon @3:51: Thank you so much for your post...the compliment and kind words mean more than you will ever know! :)

  9. Anon @4:39: Thank you!!! The earrings are from Anthropologie, btw. :)

  10. Athena: Thank you for the compliment and kind words, as well. As far as the Warm Blush Cafe' Capris...I think the color is ABSOLUTELY ok for you at size 6/8, and don't think you should hesitate in the least! I'll definitely continue to make more sets with them, too...I LOVE that color! :)

  11. Happy New Year FFM! I love your sets, also, and I agree with everyone above about the inspiration you provide with all of your sets.

I, however, am currently wearing 14 bottoms. I am also busty (38) so I don't know how this combo would look on me. But we are headed to a warm place at the end of the month, and I would love some suggestions on what to take!

    Thanks.

  12. FFM-
Could you give me some ideas on how to wear the Donegal Tweed Ecole Blazer in seagreen? I love the color just not sure how do dress it up or wear it casual...
Thanks! I love your creations ;)

  13. I love these outfits, with the cashmere short sleeved tops - but I am so in love with those flower & pearl, drop earrings - and they are out of my budget.

Oh well...it would have to be the outfits OR the earrings. Looking for an alternative earring - but nothing compares so far...

  14. Hi girls! Thanks for all the posts! I think an alternative to the Capri Pants (for those of us worried that the lighter color may not be flattering) will be the chinos in Quartz. I saw them IRL today, and they are so very pretty...a nice, soft pink. You might opt for bermuda shorts, as well. They often times tend to cut more generously than the capris. I also suggest that if you have reservations about wearing lighter colors on bottom, that you opt for a skirt, instead of pants. The skirt covers the *pet-peeve* area, while allowing you to wear your desired color, and also exudes femininity. :)

Anon @2:46: I am in LOVE with the earrings, too! I have them bookmarked in order to watch for them to go on sale. Have you looked at Etsy.com? Perhaps you can find a less expensive alternative there. :)

Gwen: Congratulations on the Ecole Blazer! I'll work on a set with it this week. :)

  16. Oh my gosh, FFM, I was going to post you that I broke down and ordered them last night because I noticed there were 4 pair left. I figured they would be my "one statement" piece of jewelry this year.

The order hasn 't even been processed yet, so I just emailed customer service. Do you have any experience with adjustements at Anthro?

    Thank you.

  17. Hi S! I would DEFINITELY call Anthro CS and ask for a price adjustment! I found this on the Anthro website:

*Previously purchased items that are now on sale: We will gladly offer you a price adjustment if the original date of shipment for your order was within 14 days of the sale offering.*

It definitely sounds as if you are entitled to the sale price since your earrings haven't even shipped yet, and they went on sale. Please let me know what happens, and congratulations on your new earrings...they are beautiful! :)

  18. Update on the earrings -
I had emailed them as soon as I found out (from you, thanks for saving me $150!!!), and then last night received an email saying they had shipped.

So I phoned them from work today, and they gave me the refund. Hooray!

    Did you order them???

    Thanks so much !

  19. Oh that's FABULOUS news S!!! I'm so glad they gave you the refund! I would LOVE to get them, but need another markdown before I could possibly go for it, unfortunately. Please let me know what you think of them when they arrive. :)

  20. Ok, this is ridiculous. If you recall, I ordered the salmon harper, the gap cargos (for 10.00!) and the sandals from JC too.

    Then, the earrings from anthropology....

Well, I was just going through the sale section of JC for the zillionith time, and lo and behold, there was the harper cashmere in salmon, reduced to 99.99.

So I emailed cs for the difference.

Guess this shows that I won't be so fast to place JC orders....only did this outfit for our trip.

Also saw that adorable Silk Annie Cami Slastena posted on her blog, which isn 't available yet...so I will hold out to see more Spring items.

  21. Oh no S! Was your first order for the Harper Sweater Final Sale? If they won't do the adjustment perhaps you could re-order it at the sale price and return the full price one? They have that free ship for $100 code now, so if you threw in a headband or some tights you could make the minimum. Did you get your Gap pants yet? Mine are due to arrive tomorrow...YAY!!!

  22. Uhmmm..no, I ordered the Harper cashmere at reg. price...it wasn't reduced yet. I just noticed the reduced price today. So I was charge 128.00, and it's on sale for 99.99. So now, this outfit has been reduced 178.00 (earrings on sale; reduced harper).
Now, if the sandals get reduced --- haha.

The Harper and the sandals arrived today, but I haven't even had a chance to try them on yet.
Will let you know fit, etc.

But thanks again for your suggestions, help!

-Suzy (Im not sure why the sign in shows "S"???

  23. Hey Suzy: I just realized my question sounded really odd...of course the sweater wasn't final sale if you paid full price...it's been a LONG day...anyways, you should still be able to get a price adjustment on the sweater if it hasn't been longer than 7 days since you purchased it. Let me know what CS says.

  24. Just got the shipment confirmation for my gap order, and the pants are scheduled to be here on Friday.

Let me know what you think!!

    Suzy

  25. Hi Suzy! The cropped cargos from Gap came today, and I really like them a lot. I ended up having to order Petite because the regular's weren't available in my size, and they fit great...the length is perfectly *cropped*, too. The color is very versatile, and I am wearing them with my J.Crew Dark Slate Decadent Mints candy tee right now. The $11 spent was DEFINITELY worth it. :)
