  1. FFM: I love these looks. There's something warm, elegant, and inviting about these colors. Don't know how to describe it, but my "psyche" was attracted to the patterns and details, especially look 1. :) For a minute, i almost went to the site to purchase the entire set.

  2. FFM, I'm sure you'll get my email too, but just in case...

Good news! I accidentally found an Academy cardigan in size small that someone just returned. I grabbed it right away for you. It's on hold at Pentagon City, 703-414-3720, under Anne. It's priced at $249 and I believe it's 30% off (maybe even 40% off - I forgot to ask). My manager knows that someone else will be calling, but she put it on hold under my name. I’m also holding an accidental find for Slastena under my name -– the ivory Lille in size 2 -- in case they ask about it.

Anyway, I hope it works for you! I think it will be great if you can get it for 30-40% off the sale price.

  3. I also love the burgundy Ecole sets! That color is so rich and elegant, and it looks fabulous with both the Cherie and the white blouse!

  5. FFM, You are quite fabulous and give me much-needed and enchanting ideas for the J.Crew Stash dwelling with me. I adore your blog, thank you SO much. I never fail to see one of your creations, without thinking, "Oh, I have THAT!" or "I might do that," or, more often, "Yee gads, that looks good--now wherever did I put mine?"

  7. Thanks for the sets! I had the ecole in burgandy in my closet and needed advice on how to wear it! Could you do a few sets for the ecole in blue next time? Thanks!

And I second the request for a set with the cobalt Ecole.

  9. Just wondering how to go even more casual with the burgandy blazer...
would a black t-shirt, dark denim and black rivington boots work? What kind of necklace? I have an event next week that I would love to wear the burgandy ecole at but it is a super casual dinner party.

  10. Hi Gwen! You could definitely do a white or black T-shirt with dark denim and the burgandy ecole. I think a long strand of pearls (think Chanel) would look beautiful even with it *dressed down*. :)
