  2. I have to say that I didn't think too much of this cardi when I first say it, but your IRL pictures make it look fabulous! Please keep the IRL pics coming!

Also, thanks for your blog. It's provides a fun distraction during the day!

  3. FFM I LOVE how you put things together. You inspire me. :)

Everyone, I love this sweater and am contemplating buying it. Does anyone know how it fits? J Crew sizing is so squirrely. The camis are running HUGE, turtleneck sweaters TTS, and cardis seem to be small. Can't figure out if I need a S or M.

  4. Lady cake,
I'd get a medium to be on the safe side.

  5. FFM - thanks for the inspiration on the chiffon pleated cardi. I have the Navy and wore it last weekend with my Crystal Snowball necklace (LOVE mine, too!), white tee underneath, Gap dark denim trouser and J.Crew patent peeptoe Mary Jane in black. The black patent shoe looks great with the outfit. I love mixing black and navy and the cardi actually has black shiny buttons so it really worked. I really enjoy looking at your sets so THANK YOU!

  6. AnneG: I was planning to buy this cardi but since it's now on sale I couldn't find it in store and couldn't try it on. It's still in stock on the website but since it's FS I'm undecided about the size. Is it TTS or small? I used to buy XS but this year I find that their XS runs really small (in cardi). I have the snow leopard cardi in S.
    TIA for your help

  7. Ema -- I think the cardi runs small. But, this coming from a curvy girl who is busty. I generally have to go for a Large or Extra large in J.Crew sweaters just to accommodate bust. However, I did get the new Fresco cardi today at B&M in a Large and the fit was fine. But, you sound teeny, so a small in the chiffon cardi would probably work for you. I love my Navy chiffon. Go for it!
