  5. Thank you SO MUCH for posting these pics. I am really loving one of the outfits on Lauren Hutton: the short-sleeved black jacket (with amazing collar detail), striped scarf, and distressed jeans. I also think the pick a posie shoes are so adorable. Can't wait to get my catalog!

  6. Great photos! Thanks so much for sharing. I am a fan of photographing the magazine pics. So much faster than scanning, even if you had one. Trust me.

  7. Thanks for the pics! I'm heading to my nearest b&m this weekend so I can't wait to see the new catalog (since they STILL can't seem to put me on the mailing list--grr!)

I have a question for you, you fashionista! :) What colors do you think would complement the tea rose color? I got a perfect tee in that color and wasn't expecting how *bright* it was...is there anything that would look good with it? I'm not sure if it really complements my skin tone, but perhaps with the right color along with it, it may work...any thoughts?

  8. Your welcome everyone! I was in a hurry since it was late when I got back from J.Crew and I do realize the pics were a little blurry...macro doesn't work that great on my camera...it's old...

I saw a couple of pieces I would really like to have, but nothing worth paying full price for, at least I don't think so...for now...

AppGal: Do you know I didn't even see the Tea Rose tees in the store? Well, I'm sure I probably did, but didn't study the color. How bright is it? Like almost Fuchsia color? Do you look good in Grey? I think it would look pretty with Dark Grey or even a deep brown. There were some really cute striped scarves throughout the entire store that appear to be in colors coordinating with the current Spring Line, so maybe look for one of them to wear closer to your face? Also, what about wearing it with Navy...perhaps a navy cardi or jacket?

  10. ffm: Just to let you know in case you did not see the Saturday Pants have been reduced further in price and you can apply the extra 20 as well.

  11. casual-crew: THANK YOU!!! I had no idea they were reduced further, and the 20% would help even out the cost of shipping, too...

  12. OT, I just wanted to thank FFM for her great Polyvore on the Target Mossimo jacket (late last week?)! I scooped it up at my local Target on clearance this week for $20 and it is DIVINE! I'm wearing it today with a brown BR turtleneck, dark 7jeans, brown boots, and a layered necklace. I've gotten a ton of compliments at work on the jacket. I want to squeal, "Thanks! FFM inspired me!" but I'm afraid of the strange looks I'll get in return. If only they knew of FFM's greatness... :)

  13. Also, I have been getting lots of nice compliments on the "accessorizing" I have been attempting the last few weeks. After seeing all of FFM's great sets with accessories, I have been making a conscious effort to do that instead of purchase more clothes. And it totally works! Today, a coworker came up to me and said, "You know, I have similar necklaces to the ones you've worn the past couple days. I always think I can't wear them to work, but now seeing yours, I totally should! It looks great!"

*smiles* Thanks, FFM! Again, if only I could yell, "FFM did it! She's the reason for all this goodness!" :)

  14. Anon @2:57/3:04: I am absolutely thrilled to hear that you love the Mossimo jacket AND got such a great deal on it, too. I truly appreciate your compliments and reports about the *success* of your outfits and accessories IRL! I think it is absolutely fantastic that you are making an effort to work with the necklaces and other accessories...BRAVO!!! Thank you again! Have a wonderful evening! :)

  15. Thanks for the tea rose suggestions! I am still thinking about keeping it. I held it up to some of those colors that you suggested and it was still too bright for me. I'm afraid it will just end up sitting in my closet, so I might look at the other color options when I go to the store on saturday. I think it may be close to the fuchsia color, but I never saw that color IRL. This is what happens when I live 2 hours away from a store :) We'll see! But thanks for the input!
