  2. I love those jeans so much. I might have to try your home distressing trick (unless the JC ones suddenly drop in price).

  3. FFM,

Really like reading your blog and following your sets on Polyvore. You have some great outfit ideas. I was wondering if you could make a set with the new Dazzling Dots pencil skirt.

    Thanks in advance.

  6. What a great casual outfit for "running errands"! You always look great! I'm going to have to pull my my "banker shirt" out of the closet!

  7. Fantastic casual outfit. I am almost compelled to go throw on a shirt instead of my sweater today. And I really need to start looking into Polyvore, I enjoy everyone's sets so much.

Are those the JC Lizzie mocs, and if so, how do they fit? Most of the JC ballet flats are too narrow in the toe box for me, but I hear that some of the mocs stretch. Thanks!

  8. Good Morning HeidiG! My mocs are actually White Mountain that I purchased at Marshall's for $25, and they look almost identical to the JC pair, except the buckle is silver. They are SO comfortable, too. If you have a Marshall's near you I would suggest looking there. Mine had numerous pair of mocs by different brands, and none of them were more than $35. I purchased my normal size in them, but since I just got them last week, I can't comment on whether or not the White Mountain brand will stretch out...I hope not! :) Have a wonderful and blessed day!

  9. Thanks for the info, FFM. Maybe I will try to fit a Marshalls into my travels today. I hit TJ Maxx yesterday - no JC shoes, tried on 3 JC dresses and they were all bad choices for me.

  11. I absolutely love your blog! I am in my mid twenties and trying to build my wardrobe with more quality and classic pieces and I find your sets so helpful (even though I'm on a tight budget right now!) I was wondering if you could post a picture of you wearing the BR Wilshire hobo.. I have been looking for something similiar and am curious as to how it looks/size of it when worn. If you could that would be aweome! Thanks!!

  12. I am a new follower of your blog and this is my first post. I wanted to comment on the driving mocs since I just found a great pair at Marshall's as well. They are MeToo brand (one of my favorite brands - super comfy and great quality), and look just like some of the JCrew ones. I got the silver metallic, but they also have gold and several colors of suede. They even motivated me to create my first polyvore set around them - now I'm addicted to Polyvore! Love your blog and your fabulous sense of style. Thanks for all that you do to help motivate stay at home moms like me stay in style and look good even when our days are spent running errands and hauling kids around! : )

  13. I have the lizzie mocs (yea I actually shelled out the money for them-- though I got them on sale at 89.99-- but they are worth FP) I have them in suede, leather, and metallic leather. I got blisters from the leather the first three times I wore them but now they are perfect. I live in a walking city and walk for MILES in them... I am normally an 8.5 in flats and heels... I got all mine in a 9 and they are perfect... they do stretch a bit as the leather softens! I love Jcrew's mocs... this is my third set... I have worn the soles off of the first two sets (yea I actually walk that much)

  14. Hi FFM, I love seeing your polyvore compositions. This latest one has inspired me to bust out some old Polo dress shirts and start wearing them again. Thanks for the inspiration! :-)
