  5. Beautiful and chic, as always! Best wishes that your day and appt goes well!
OT: bought the snow leopard cardi - LOVE it, but haven't worn it yet - what color tees would you recommend under it? I'm fair skinned and will most likely wear the cardi with jeans. TIA!!!

  6. Hi--I found you through JCA. I just wanted to let you know that I am (basically) a stay-at-home Mom and you have really inspired me. Your quote the other day brought tears to my eyes, and helped me to strive to be more patient with my kids, my spouse, and myself, and to have a really great day. You have also inspired me to strive to look better (and feel better!) every day by taking some time for myself and getting dressed! Thank you very much. I'm sorry to learn about your son and hope that all went well at the hospital.

  12. Thank you everyone! The appointment went well...just had to get the top of his brace *rolled* as they call it, as it was cutting into his calf muscle and causing him pain.

Slastena: thank you, but unfortunately the brain damage and physical disability are permanent. The leg brace and therapy help to slow down the affects to his physical stature, but there isn't a cure for the damage already incurred to his little brain.

He is an amazing little 3 year old and I am blessed that God has given him to me! :)

  16. Hi Ina! The patent belt in Warm Blush is very pretty! I would personally wear it with Light Pewter, Navy, White, Khaki, Tan, Brown, *Mossy Shadow*, and the new *Crisp Celery* color that J.Crew has out right now.

As for the Golden Avocado necklace: how bright are the beads IRL? They don't look very *avocado-ish* or golden in the pic online.

  17. Good Morning Elizabeth, and congratulations on the Snow Leopard cardi! The colors of the cardigan are neutral, so it can be paired with just about any color. My personal favorites as we move into Spring are: Black, Navy, Bright Pink, Green, Bright Blue, Red, Ivory, and Camel. You could easily pick up some of the tanks at Target, J.Crew, Gap, or Old navy to wear under with jeans and cute sandals. HTH! :)

  18. Hi FFm,
    thanks for your answer.
the beads are not avocadocolored at all, they are like regular green jade.no golden tone to them, i wonder how they got that color name?

  19. Hi Ina! That is odd! They are very pretty, and I would suggest wearing them with the same colors I suggested for the belt in Warm Blush, expect for the Crisp Celery. I love pink, grey, and navy with green tones, especially. :) HTH a little !

  21. FFM: THANKS for the wonderful help - I hadn't even thought of pairing the snow leopard cardi with black (which I have a lot of!) - I'm sure the look will be very chic! I'll give the other color suggestions a try too.

I'm glad your appt at Shriner's went well and you were able to get the necessary adjustments to your son's braces. I have a nephew with CP and in braces - he's always been a little fighter and an inspiration to all of us that know him. I'm sure your little guy is very blessed to have you as his mom - you sound committed, compassionate and a great advocate for his needs. I always feel that God doesn't give us more than we can handle. Have a fabulous day!
