Wednesday Morning Women/Mom's Meeting and Errands...I'll answer blog questions/comments from yesterday and today when I get home later this afternoon. Have a Blessed Day! :)

Here are a few IRL photos of the dress. I am wearing the Extra Small. It has adjustable straps, a deep V in front, and is unlined. I am able to wear a strapless bra with it, and I also wore a long, ankle length slip today. I think it would probably be *ok* to wear it without a slip, but you would be able to see through it slightly in the sunlight.

Overall this dress has been fabulous today...extrememly comfortable, easy to just *throw on* and head out the door (perfect today since my 3 year-old hasn't been sleeping well lately, and I am VERY tired), can be *dressed up* a bit by adding the cardigan, but still looks nice without it. I am very pleased with the dress, and hope to get one in another color soon. :)

Sorry about the crooked photos...not having much luck with my camera today, plus I tried photographing in a different room...poor photo quality, too. I'm hoping for a new camera for my birthday in May. :)

  5. This outfit is so nice (and looks v. comfortable). I was in ON on Monday and I really wanted to like this dress, but how long is it really? Did you have to have it hemmed?

  6. Oh my gosh!!! I LOVE this outfit - would love to see IRL! Looks super-chic and super-comfy - my kind of outfit! I must get to ON to check out this dress - although I'm not sure if I can pull off a maxi dress! Love your look, though!

  7. Hi There...

Absolutely LOVE this outfit. Looks fabulous on you. Very put together...casual but 'spiffy'. I love the handbag. Went on Bluefly and they say it is not available. Any idea where I may pick this up?

    Again...LOVE this!!!!!!

  8. Hello Girls! I just posted a couple of IRL pics so you can see the length...I am only 5'4" and it is fits well on me without hemming it. :)

Sorry about the crooked picture...just couldn't get it right for some reason today...

  9. Drewablank: HI and WELCOME!!! I'm so delighted you decided to post...I really enjoy hearing from you girls! :)

Irene: My bag is a Charm and Luck bag that I bought 2 years ago. I couldn't find a picture online so used the bag in the set as a substitute...sorry for the confusion and not noting it in the details of the set.

  10. Love this on you. Thanks so much for the IRL pics. Haven't been to ON for a looooong time but this convinces me to give it another shot!!

  12. FFM-This looks beautiful on you. I would have been intimidated by the length, but you look PERFECT and wear it so well. So happy to see your IRL pics again!

  14. FFM,
You are a fashion diva in this dress!!! You look awesome! Do you see many people in your area wearing these Maxi dresses? I've seen them a lot on the movie stars, but haven't seen anyone in my area of the country (Ohio) wearing it yet. Of course, it would help if it wasn't still winter up here. Plus I think some of the trends catch on here last being in the Midwest.

  15. *Love*

This looks great on you! I've always had a hard time figuring out how to wear a maxi dress but you've convinced me to try :) And just in time for Gap Friends & Family...

By the way I just had to add that you are so gorgeous!

  16. Thank you for the compliments everyone! :) You are all so sweet!

Colleen, I received a lot of compliments at Church this morning in our Women's group, and my sister had even considered getting this dress the last time she was in ON, as well. I know there will be other women at my Church who will wear this style, and I've also seen a few women at the mall with them on. I think since Florida is very casual and also already warm, the dresses are/will be more prominent here. :)

  17. Toooo cute! I love it!It is soooo chic =)

  18. Btw, I also wanted to add that I think the dress is actually more *full* than the pic of it on the website, and it was also available in grey and white stripe in the store. :)

  19. And it also comes in Tall and Petite online, as well.

  20. oh FFM...you are too cute in this dress! I may have to head to my nearby ON and check out what they have to offer. I've been intrigued by the maxi dress trend but haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet.

  21. Hope you don't mind me asking, but what size are you wearing in this dress? do you think that since it's a "forgiving" maxi dress that you should size down or is it TTS?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hi AppGal! I don't mind you asking about the size at all! I am wearing the XS, so I did size down according to the ON size charts. They have me in a Small, but when I tried it on in the store the bust was a bit too large on me, and the XS is a good fit, especially in the bust. HTH!

  23. Love you in this look!!! As always.....great style!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Could you BE any prettier? Impossible!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh, how pretty!
Thanks for giving us ideas for Old Navy shopping...I went to their store yesterday and didn't like their floral dresses too much. The one you have on is gorgeous!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Love it! Thanks for rockin the ON...I haven't had much faith in them as of late. I'd love to see you throw in more ON pieced to prove that it can be done with style!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hey there FFM! You look so beautiful in this dress!

I hear you on the not sleeping. My almost 3 year old son went through 3 months of not sleeping around Christmas, it is really hard. Good luck!

  28. This dress looks amazing on you. I am definitely going to get one of these striped ones with the Friends & Family discount! Thank you so much for posting these IRL pics.

  29. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty!

You look soooo great! I love how you styled it w/the scarf & silver.

Ok, stunner, where'd you get the scarf?

    ReplyDelete
  30. FFM you looks amazing as usual. Very cool mom.

  31. Thank you for all the comments and compliments last night after my last post girls! :)

Gigi, I found my scarf at TJ Maxx for $7.99...picked up a solid black one, too. LOVE IT!!! It is the perfect weight for Spring/Summer...similar to the Jersey type material of this maxi dress. :)

  32. So cute! I am also a first timer on your web page and am totally going to stalk your outfits daily now! I love your style and LOVE that you post where everything is from!!

I am not a Mommy yet but I definitely strive to be just as fashionable as you someday =0)

  33. You look even better IRL than it looks in the Polyvore.

Did you say it comes in tall?? How was the fit - I go from M to L in ON, depending on the garment.

    ReplyDelete
  34. WELCOME Caitlin!

Heidi, thank you! The dress IS available online in Tall, as well as Petite. I actually sized down from what the Old Navy size charts said I should be. I normally wear a Small at ON, and went with the XS because it fit me much better in the bust. HTH! The dress is an even better deal now with the Friends and Family coupon. :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Heidi, I should add that if you have a normal or large size bust then I would say get your regular size in the dress. Since my bust is on the smaller size the sizing down worked best for me. Btw, the straps are adjustable. :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. I just happened to think: I think this dress would also look really cute with a denim jacket as an alternative to the cardigan. :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Good idea on the denim jacket! I just ordered the black today with my 30%. I think I will wear a denim jacket with it!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I noticed also on the v-neck of the dress that it is possible to safety pin or stitch it together a little higher up, if you feel it is a bit too low, or your strapless bra doesn't work with it. I may do this...not sure. I really didn't have an issue with it yesterday with the strapless bra I had on, but I think I'm going to look for one of those strapless bras that also have the deep v in the front, as I think it would work better than the one I currently own.

    ReplyDelete
  39. You are so beautiful! I totally envy your hair, and your tan! :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. I just had to order this for my florida trip when I saw your pic! gorgeous!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I rarely ever shop at ON, but this dress on you has driven me to purchase it! I also bought it in the black, but got a large in petite, since the large in regular was sold out. Crossing my fingers that the only real difference will be the length! It looks amazing on you, and I'm not much taller at 5'5".

    ReplyDelete
  42. I would love to wear something like this just around......... perfect cozy and class.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Okay I saw Gigi's link and had to come on over and take a look and I must say FFM you look so cute! Love the dress on you and how you styled it. You get my vote for best dressed mom.

  44. This looks fantastic on you ffm! It's a very chic and comfortable looking outfit. :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. First, you look great in that outfit!

Second, you are so lucky to find a dress that is a perfect length on you! I am always trying to find one that is long enough for sandals.
