So today has been another busy one...I apologize for not blogging much recently, but life has been really hectic lately due to a whole bunch of things happening in my personal life, and I just haven't been able to do *everything*, as much as I would like to. ;)

This outfit is what I wore today running errands: son's dental appointment, market, butcher shop, post office, etc. The Merino Crewneck cardigan in Dark Charcoal had been in my shopping cart for a long time, but when I finally decided to get it...it had SOLD OUT...UGH!!!! Then last week a couple of them popped back up online, and I didn't hesitate this time around...I had been wanting to get it to wear as a *twinset* with my Rolling Ruffles tank, and now I am finally able to...YAY!!! The cardigan arrived yesterday and I LOVE it! My earrings are similar to the ones in the set that I picked up at Target for $4. The shoes I wore are actually Pewter Patent in a very similar style that I found at Marshall's. They look great with the Rolling Ruffles Tank, Merino Crewneck in Dark Charcoal, Zebra tee, and my Michelle V-Neck Cardigan...definitely a great find for $25. Oh...forgot to mention they are SUPER comfy, too!

  1. Yay for your new cardigan! I am sure it looks simply lovely with the rolling ruffles tank.

Is the merino crewneck really long? I read a comment a while back on JCA that it was. I have a hard time with the long cardigans, Michelle & Portland in particular.

  2. Hi Emily! The Merino Crewneck is actually about the same length as the Michelle. I am used to wearing shorter cardigans like the Jackie, but have been trying to *break out* of my shorter cardi routine...not to mention the Jackie doesn't come in Dark Charcoal. :) Have a wonderful evening!

  3. How does that cardigan fit size-wise? Is it similar to the Michelle, or the Library cardigan? Should I order the up size or the down size? :)

    Thanks!

  4. Hi Liz! I bought my normal size Small and the fit is great, so I think buying your regular size should work. HTH! Let me know if you have anymore questions. :)

  5. Oh, and I would say the fit is similar to the Michelle cardigan.

  6. I have both the Merino crewneck in the dark charcoal and the rolling ruffles in the same color - GREAT idea - I'll have to try it as a "twinset" too! I wore my rolling ruffles for the first time Sunday - and I don't usually "do" ruffles - but I got several compliments! Maybe I need to change my look a bit or everyone was probably SO surprised to see me in ruffles! Glad you got the cardi - it is a great versatile one! :)

  9. Great outfit again! Not sure if you have seen it, but the Jackie is available in charcoal in my B&M. It hasn't been online, and it's been in store for a couple of months. I love it! Email me if you need more information about the store at love2shop4bags AT yahoo DOT com.

  13. I love this. I picked up the rolling ruffles small in the pale pink (blush?) and would like to pick up a longer cardigan as well...maybe the price will come down. Very pretty.
