Hello J.Crew Spring Sale and Goodbye *For Now* J.Crew Final Sale

Finally...J.Crew stopped the dreaded Final Sale and is *introducing* the Spring Sale. I, for one, am absolutely thrilled, as I really dislike the fact that J.Crew implements Final Sale at all. I wish they wouldn't ever bring it back, but that's probably just wishful thinking...at least it is gone for the time being, and J.Crew customers can now purchase risk-free once again. :)

How do you feel about Final Sale? Are you as thrilled as I am to see it gone, even if it is more than likely only temporary? Will you purchase more now knowing you can return your item if it doesn't work out for you?

  1. No I definately will not be buying more Spring items, I have returned more stuff to J Crew this Spring than ever before, the return shipping gets expensive. I agree with you the FS is only temporary. Have a nice day!

  2. I think JCrew should stand behind their product 1000% and you should be able to return ANYTHING if you have tags on and a receipt !
I very, very hesitantly ordered the library cardigan and chino shorts last night, and HATED that I have to PRAY THEY WORK OUT !!

  3. I love the library shawl cardigan. I bought it in pewter. So soft and comfortable. If it came in another color other than putty, I would buy another one.

  4. I love the library cardigan as well. I want to order the putty one but I'm hoping for a % off sale sometime. Wishful thinking!

  5. Final sales are OK for really old merchandise. But it frustrates me when they put new sale items in final sales. How can you commit to an item you haven't even tried on. I have passed on a lot of purchases because of the final sale policy.

  6. I am overjoyed that "Final Sale" is no longer final! How irritating to see items you've purchased at near full-price are listed as unreturnable (if that's a word). It's happened far too many times to count. So sick of it! Let's hope "Final Sale" doesn't rear its ugly head again until Fall, when they're clearing out the summer merchandise.

  7. I am just as happy that the final sale is gone. Yay! However, I think the sale prices for many items are still too expensive, but I will definitely consider buying more to just try on for fit and like and return until a % off comes around or another markdown occurs.

Yes--the Spring sale is about a week and half late! Much better than Final Sale! Yea!

  9. I'm so happy that final sale is over. I could understand FS with an additional % off for old and deeply discounted items that they can't get rid off, but not on items that just went on sale and without additional % off. I definitively buy more knowing that I can return, especially catalog/Internet only items.
Now I can order that pair of Cate slingbacks in stone (color that I've never seen IRL)!

  10. Yes-I am so with you! I hate the final sale idea. How are you to know how something will fit when you are buying online? I hope final sale goes away forever too!
