I wore my ON Maxi Dress for the first half of the day at home, and then changed into this to take my 3 yr. old to therapy, and now I'm headed to my hair appointment. My jacket is actually from GapKids...it's a boy's jacket that I picked up for $24 in the store (can't find it online at Gap, but it is almost identical to the one from J.Crew except it has a zipper in front and no buttons). I have the belt on the outside of the jacket, too. My shoes are a similar pair that I found at Target for $4.98. The jeans were found at a 2nd hand boutique and do not have the belt on them like the pair that is pictured. :)

  1. I really like the look of the menswear anorak jacket and I love the fact that you wore it with the belt!

  2. I hope your three year old gets better! I had to do the OT, Speech therapy and it just broke my heart. My therapy was to shop - just so I can get over taking my baby to therapy! May you and yours be blessed!

  4. This is totally OT, but wanted to ask since you live in FL. My husband and I will be in Orlando for a few days and want to go to a theme park. Which ones would you recommend to a couple with no kids who like fast roller coasters and ethnic foods, but are not huge Disney fans? Thanks, it's tough to find good recommendations on the web that aren't ads!!

  5. This is such a cute outfit (and one that I wish I could pull off except for the fact that the boyfriend jacket might be one of the worst-fitting designs this season!)! Thanks for the great idea to substitute, though!

  7. Thanks everyone! I'm really pleased with the Gap jacket...the fit and price are SO much better than the J.Crew version. :)

Anon @11:19: Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words. :)

Soon to be PhD: I agree with anon@10:26...Universal Studios Orlando has the best rides, especially for a couple without children. The website is here . If you want just one of the Universal parks, then Islands of Adventure would be the best choice. :) HTH, and HAVE FUN!
