Dear FFM,

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! The weather is getting warmer in DC, and I'm looking forward to returning to work after the long weekend, wearing some of the new, stylish sets you created for me!!

I can't thank you enough for all of your help. As I mentioned during my initial e-mail to you, I was in need of a complete, wardrobe overhaul. I was overweight and awkward during most of my teens and twenties, and because I was self conscious, I dressed in baggy clothes to hide myself. Although I have dropped 30 pounds, and kept it off for 10 years, my closet still reflected my unhappy past. My standard work uniform was an ill fitting pants suits paired with loafers. My casual wardrobe consisted of jeans, t shirts and flip flops!!! I knew I needed a change, but was simply overwhelmed. I discovered your work on Polyvore, when I was looking for ideas, and found your blog shortly thereafter. I fell in love with your effortlessly chic outfits, which I felt that even *I* could pull off :-) Equally important, I loved your optimism and philosophy towards life. I know I needed a patient, positive person to help me with my new look.

After almost six weeks of collaboration, I could *not* be happier with the results! I'm actually excited about clothes again, and it was so liberating to purge my wardrobe of blah, ill-fitting pieces, and fill it with stylish, versatile clothes that don't hide my body. I know I was a challenging client, because I didn't have an unlimited budget, and I needed EVERYTHING, from shoes and belts, to tanks, camisoles and (properly fitting) slacks. I was also picky about certain colors, and insisted on trying on an item before I would give it a thumbs up for inclusion in a set. I logged a lot of miles to the mile over the past few weeks :-) I can't thank you enough for your patience and enthusiasm! It was a pleasure to work with you, and I know I will call on Fabulous Florida Mommy guidance again in the late summer/early fall!! Please feel free to use me as a reference for any prospective clients!

Sincerely,
Julie
