What do you think? Do you see anything you like? Are there any looks you plan to recreate?

  1. I'm so jealous of you guys who've received the "sneak peak" emails! I like the slouchy dress + green cardigan, but I have a feeling I'll be recreating the blazer/lumiere cami look (already have the cami!) Thanks SO much for posting! :)

  2. Thank you, FFM. The dress is TDF...love paisley (when done well). :) The crewcuts stuff is so cute, too! Have a great night!

  3. Love that first look will have to recreate.

Too bad I don't have a little girl because the crewcuts is adorable.

  5. Ah nothing just yet. I am waiting for that lace cami thing that I've been eyeing since the glamour fall preview monthssss ago. I'm sure it will be super expensive.... did you get the gift card little mag with the lace skirt? $850!

  6. Nothing is really speaking to me at all...I'd take the Male Model though--although he's probably on the "other team!" (if you know what I mean!!!-smile)

  7. I also like the dress - hope my b&m carries it so I can try it on. :)

  10. I like the blazer, it is kinda pricey for me I will try to recreate the look.

O/T I read that you purchased a grey creature tee do you have the item number for that tee? I like it and I am going to try to contact JC to see if it going to be offered on-line at some point.

  11. I love the professor blazer in the first pic -- been swooning over that one for a little while. I am likely to take the plunge on it if the fit is right (I missed the Lexington a few seasons back and have always regretted it, plus I am sucker for blazers). Otherwise, nothing else interests me, and I have to consider that stocked up my closet pretty well last year.

  12. Hello Everyone! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts! I am also in love with the blazer and the dress...I think I like the mohair cardigan, too. :)

casual-crew: The Grey Tee is called the Slub Cotton Stamped Paisley tee, even though it is different than the other Paisley tee that's available online. It's also the same item number as the online tee: 18078. :)

  14. I love the outfit in the third photo from the top! Do you think the checked shirt is a women's shirt (as opposed to a men's shirt)?

  15. RatsOnParade:

Does the lumiere cami fit TTS?

I've been curious but don't think anyone has reviewed it yet.

  16. I love the blazer, but I still dreaming about the lace top...

  17. Hi FFM,
Can you give us any info on the fit/style of the ribbon top?
Thanks so much if you can!!
    I don't live near a B&M. . . .

  18. Hi Anon@12:02! On the Ribbon Front Top...I find it to be TTS, if not possibly a bit on the smaller side. I initially called CS for measurements, and was sure I would take the size 0 based on what she said, but ended up getting the size 2 after trying it on. Even my PS in the store thought it looked as if it was running large and was equally surprised that the size 2 fit me better than the size 0. I think the top fits similar to the Metallic Vita Cami and Metallic Strati Tank, in that it is roomier up top, but fitted at the hip. The model in the pic is of course tall, and the top hits her higher than it does on me, since I am only 5'4", and I think this is the reason that it fits me more snugly on the hips. I think someone taller might have better luck at sizing down, but if you're short I would suggest your regular size or even one size larger. I think the online pic makes the top appear shorter and more a-line than it is IRL on a *normal* size woman. HTH! Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

  19. JennC: I think the checkered shirt could possibly be one of the Men's shirts. There are some similar ones already on the website in the Men's section, and J.Crew has styled the women in their men's items before, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if the shirt in the pic is a man's shirt.

  20. I have some info on the dress and mohair cardi. The dress is called something shimmering paisley dress and it is $118, which I thought was reasonable for a JC dress that's not knit. I tried the mohair cardi on and it was not itchey and it does have 3/4 sleeves. I don't remember the price, sorry. It comes in several colors - I tried on a saturated peachy coral, saw the green, and a bright pink. It runs TTS. It wasn't out on the floor, my store received it early so they couldn't put it out yet, but my ps wanted me to try it on. It was cute, but not full price cute. :)

  21. Thank you so much for the information math teacher! I'm glad to hear the mohair cardi isn't itchy because I think it's super cute. :)

  22. JennC: GAP actually has a men's shirt for sale now that is very similar to the one in the September preview pic you were asking about. Fitted two-pocket gingham shirt . I saw it in the store yesterday and it's very nice IRL. :)
