Sunday Shopping:New Year...New Arrivals at Lands' End CANVAS

Hello Everyone! It's time for a little *Sunday Shopping*...YAY!!! Today is a look at some of the New Arrivals that Lands' End Canvas is offering...so many cute new pieces, and the prices seem pretty reasonable, too. I also love all the different color and print options they offer for the different items. It's really nice to have so many choices. :) Btw, if you missed my post at the beginning of January about the Canvas line at LE, you can see it here.

Now for some pretty picks:
From the website regarding their merchandise:
  • Guaranteed. Period.®
  • Our return policy is so simple it’s just two words long: Guaranteed. Period.®
  • It means you can return anything at anytime for any reason for a full refund of its purchase price.
  • We care about the quality of our products and your satisfaction with them. Today, tomorrow, forever.
*An added bonus is that if you need to make a return you can do so at any Sears store that sells Lands' End clothing.

What do you think about the New Arrivals at Canvas? See anything you like? Have you already ordered from Canvas? Please feel free to comment. :)

xoxo,

  1. I am impressed with Lands End Canvas and I just received my Spring catalog from LE and even they have revamped some of their clothes. I have seen the Slim Leg cropped in person not on-line yet, and they are really nice quality.

I will be ordering their Slub cotton tees the price is right.

  2. i haven't ordered anything, but i am really liking a lot of the canvas items. my husband had some bad j crew experiences (buttons on shirts breaking, etc) a couple of years ago and basically shifted all his buying to lands' end. i mostly found it too conservative/matronly in the past, but i think canvas is really cute. i'm surprised LE isn't pushing it more on their main site. thanks for highlighting your picks!

  3. Ok...so funny that you did a post on this today as I was JUST on the Land's End web site last night looking at the new cuties that had arrived. I am personally really taken with the Ballet flats in that darling liberty print as well as the Utility Jacket and lastly, a super cute dress -- the Women's Shift Dress -- the one with the jersey top. I love all these things and as soon as I can naviagte the 30 inches of snow we got here this weekend and the malls re-open (!) I am headed to a Sears to check out if theyhave any LE Canvas items to try on.

  4. It seems AnneG, you and I are on the same wavelength, because I was just looking at the LE's site last night as well and couldn't help but be impressed by the items! I do like that striped boyfriend cardigan and the shift dress that AnneG mentions.

Thanks for posting this, FFM! Have a good day! :)

  5. Thank you for introducing me to LEC on your previous blog. I'm now a FB fan of theirs and was just looking over the new arrivals last night. We live near a Mall that has a Sears and I'm going to take a peek today or tomorrow to see if they have Canvas items. I'm happy to see the collection grow. I'm planning to order a few items in the next few weeks. Love the white boot cut jeans (tough to find), the knit button front shirt and the poplin blouse in green apple. Are you going to order?

  7. I've only gotten a striped tank so far from the Canvas line but just ordered the gingham shirt since I missed out on the J. Crew version last season. Great return policy and quality - and they were offering up free shipping with no minimum at the time. Canvas reminds me of J. Crew of old, and I always did the nautical/preppy vibe.

  8. Wow, I am so impressed with their new offerings! When I look at the older items in my closet, my LE items are in way better shape than the JC stuff.

I'd be curious to hear some fit reports. In their regular line, LE introduced a more updated fit (lower waist, skinnier leg) in the cords and I thought they were great on me, especially compared to the JC matchsticks, because they were cut smaller in the waist. I'm more of an hourglass and JC seems for the straight-up-and-down figure.

  10. I am becoming a Lands' End fan again after many years! I just did a post yesterday on my in-store visit -- had to go after seeing their great Spring catalog and then getting comments from readers on good items. I tried on the Jackie-like cardi (love it; wish there were even more colors) and checked out that sailor tee (they only had petites in but I am definitely getting this later!) I love the classic Tretorns too. :)

  11. I was on last night too - scooping up some work shirts for the husband. I LOVE lands end for my little girl too b/c the dresses are long enough and wash and wear so well. I am excited by their new offering in women. Before it was very matronly -- but the cardigans and colors are so pretty and all the different fits - I am excited.
Anyone try the boyfriend khakis from the canvas line?
    I am interested

  12. I was just on the site yesterday, too! VERY cute stuff - Jcrew esque at a better price point. Lands End is great quality, but I haven't bought their stuff in the past much b/c the cuts are too generous. Definitely going to buy - maybe one of the striped oxfords.

  13. Hi Ladies! Thank you all so much for stopping by! :)

Just like all of you, I am also impressed with the Canvas line. There are so many great options to choose from now, and I love the colors and prints, too. I own one of the Canvas *Jackie-like* cardigans and really like it a lot. The color is beautiful and the fabric feels great on. I haven't laundered it yet, so I can't comment as to how it washes, but I have a feeling it will turn out just fine. I definitely plan on ordering more from them in the future. :)

  14. I have not ordered from the Canvas line just the fit 1 in the regular LE line. I like the Canvas items but LE regular line has incredible sales right now. I like the LE regular line "Jackie" like cardigan. I have been buying them for 15 years now. The fit continues to improve each year and the quality is great. If the canvas line has a sale I will order but will hold out until.

  15. I ordered the boyfriend v-neck T and LOVE it and have laundered it several times and NO HOLES (unlike my J.Crew tissue items). In the same order, I had received a pair of the Canvas jeans (can't remember the actual name - the slim leg one) - had to return because the waist was just too big in the back (a common problem for me and if I size down - they don't fit elsewhere). Returned them by mail and received a note card thanking me for my purchase and then a PHONE CALL from a Canvas rep asking what I did not like about the jeans and if I was happy with the tee!!! AMAZING service! I am very impressed and plan to order more. The rep did tell me that at the present time, the Canvas items were only available on-line (not in store and they won't be doing a catalog yet for Canvas) - she said they may reconsider as the product line grows but she did indicate that it's been receiving a lot of positive feedback so far. Thanks for featuring Canvas, FFM!

  16. On a completely different note, FFM have you got a post on how you do these awesome updos? I have tried to play around with them but it seems like you might have a tried and true formula based on your pics. Any chance you could do a tutorial on the messy updo?

  17. Elizabeth in MO,
Yes, I did not think the Canvas line was in Sears---just the regular LE line. (I read in previous posts that others were going to go to Sears but knew it was likely not there) LE is known for fantastic customer service. I think it is the best out there by far....

  18. FFM...How are you?!?! Thanks for introducing me to CANVAS...I checked out the website and I love so many of the things...great for casual basics. I'm planning to order a few pieces for the spring and I am anxious to see how the quality is. Their price point seems so reasonable.

  19. PS...how does their sizing run??

My limited experience with brands like Lands End and LL Bean is that the clothing runs really big. Is this the case with Canvas too?
