Old Navy Online Promotion: 20% Off Spring Fashions Until 3.4.10

Old Navy is offering 20% off their Spring Fashions for the entire family through March 4th with code ONSPRING at checkout. Let's take a look at some of the pieces on sale:

Women's Belted Trench Coat. I have this in the *Rolled Oats* aka Khaki color and really like it a lot. The fabric is 100% cotton and feels like Khaki chinos in jacket form, plus it's machine washable. I did size up to a Small because it felt too tight across the bust when closed in the XSmall. The color of this particular one is darker IRL than the online pic. It's actually closer to British Khaki than it is to Stone, as you can see in the pic I took of my coat (below this ON photo).
Mine:

Slub-Knit Scoop-Neck Tees. These look really cute...love the colors, too.

3/4 Sleeve Jersey Henley. The reviews are mixed on this one, but for $10 (before the 20% off) it may just be worth a shot (consensus says to size down).

Lightweight Boyfriend Cardigan. Great colors and fantastic price. :)

Denim Pencil Skirt...a great staple piece for every woman's wardrobe.

Tiered Printed Whirly Skirts. How cute for Spring/Summer with a tank top and sandals or flip flops. It comes in 4 different color/pattern combos, too.

Twill Cargo Zip Jacket. I like this one a lot, and actually ordered it in Rawhide...fingers crossed it's just as cute IRL. :)

Do you plan on taking advantage of this offer? Do you already own any of these pieces? Please feel free to comment. :)

  2. I have that Twill Cargo Zip Jacket in the rawhide color, and I love it. It's very easy to wear, and the elatic at the waist gives it a bit of shape. My only complaint is that the collar needs to be reshaped/ironed after washing. Otherwise, it's perfection.

  3. T-shirt girl - I seem to be an XS or S at ON but not consistently one or the other. Which size do you think I should get? Does it run on the bigger side? Thanks!

  4. Hi JCrewBug! I'm just now catching up on emails and will email you back in a couple minutes. :) Btw, I ordered both the XSmall and the Small in the Twill Cargo Zip jacket just to be on the safe side, since the trench ran a little small, and I had to exchange it out.

Hello T-Shirt Girl and thank you SO much for the information about the jacket...now I am REALLY extra excited about getting it! :)

  5. I have the cargo jacket in the grey color and really like it. The sizing is a bit strange though ... tight in the arms and loose in the chest. I'm normally a size XS in Old Navy but got a S in this. Other than that, it's very cute and I can't wait to wear it! Almost got the rawhide color too!

  6. JCrewBug, I would go with the S, not the XS in this item. I too did what FFM did & ordered two different sizes, a M & L, and ended up returning the Medium. The larger size is just more comfortable and offers ease of movement. I have a 3-year old, so that's important. ;)

  8. I'm loving ON too right now. I just got a couple tees, boyfriend cardigan, weekend jeans and my daughter got the cargo coat -it's super cute on her. She bought the peach flower pin at ON too and put it on the coat to "girly" it up. She is 10 and can wear the XS!

  10. I placed an ON order this morning :) Mostly stuff for the kids but got a pair of the weekend jeans for myself, as well as a pair of the 7" shorts. I don't usually do shorts but they are only online so I just thought I'd try them out.

  11. I love the Twill Cargo Zip Jacket I saw IRL it is thick cotton and is well made. I did not get a chance to try it on hopefully next time around.

ffm: Did you get your Jaspe henley yet?, mine arrives tomorrow, I was just wondering about the fit.

  12. Hi Stacie! Don't you just love ON for the kiddos? I think the kids' clothes are great quality and they hold up really well with all the wear and tear they get, too. :)

  13. Hi casual-crew! Thanks for letting me know about the Cargo Zip jacket...can't wait to get it. :)

I did get the Jaspe Henley yesterday and was only able to try it on quickly, but my initial thoughts are that I love it. It's supersoft, but a tad *darker* than the previous jaspe...nothing bad, just a slight color difference. Funny, because I would have thought the darker more for Fall and the lighter for Spring, but they did it the other way around. I will say that the neckline seems pretty generous and was showing my bra straps, so I will wear a strapless one with it. I do think it will look great worn over button down shirts and tanks, too. I plan to post pics later on today. :)

  14. casual-crew: I may not get to the pics today after all, as something unexpected has come up that I need to take care of. I will try to get them up in the next day or two (although I know you'll have yours by then).

  15. The twill cargo zip jacket is a cutie pie! I was in Old Navy and when I saw it--it reminded me of Crew's Boyfriend Military Jacket. I would get this in the gray! Luved all the colors at ON!

  19. FFM, Thanks for the ON news! They have really stepped up their game over there. You've listed some great items and I especially like the "Rawhide" color of the Twill Cargo Jacket. I hope it works wonderfully for you. I purchased the Crewlet "Boyfriend Military Jacket" (?) and wear it with practically everything. It's my new 3rd piece....

  20. Hi Crew Cricket! Thank you so much for stopping by and congrats on your Crewlet Military jacket! I totally agree about ON stepping up there game, not to mention keeping prices reasonable while doing it. :)

  21. I just saw your comment about the jaspe sorry for not posting my response sooner. I love it, I am wearing it today with my gray matchstick cords and an ON grey/white stripe long sleeved tee.
