*Stripes with Flare*

I wore this outfit on 4.20.10. The gold accessories compliment the camel stripes of the bateau top beautifully, and I love the overall silhouette of the flare leg jeans paired with the top, as well...comfortably chic. :)

  1. The cork wedges are really a great substitute for the J. Crew version!

  6. I love this outfit! I tried on that top and it really wasnt a good fit for my larger chest and short waisted self. I was soooo bummed because I have a different striped shirt from them that I LOVE and wish I'd bought two of (the tissue tee with the thin gray and white stripes).

  7. LOVE this outfit - I have a pair of Kork Ease sandals in the Myrna style, which is the low-heeled version of what you posted. I am in LOVE with them and am contemplating a higher style - either the Ava or the Bette. I'm a mom of 2 toddlers, and while I love the high shoes, I'm wondering if I'll break an ankle in the Bette. Do you find them really high?

  8. Thanks for stopping by ladies! This outfit is one of my favorites...so easy, yet so chic and pretty at the same time. Even my DH commented how great it looked when he came home from work that night. :)

Michelle: The Bette sandals seemed a bit high at first, but after wearing them the first time I didn't even notice the height. Now I wear them all the time. They're really comfortable, and I love that they make me over 5'8" tall when I wear them. I would suggest purchasing them from an online store that offers free shipping and free returns such as Endless.com or Zappos. That way if you don't feel comfortable in them you can return them without any losing any money, or if you do like them you could still return them and look for them someplace else on sale. HTH!:)
