Chambray and Cognac

IRL:

The handbag is the Goa 4-Pocket Hobo in Cognac from Banana Republic (replacing the LV in the polyvore set).

The Details:

*Old Navy *The Weekend* Jeans in Bright White, similar here and here (in white).

*Ann Taylor Chain and Jewel Tiered Necklace, similar here and here.

*Monet Gold Hoop Earrings purchased at Macy's (not available online), similar here and here.

*Talbots Gold Bangles. Similar here (in Gold) and here.

*J.Crew Leather Equestrian Belt, similar here (in Cognac).

*Cynthia Vincent for Target Gladiator Wedge, similar here and here.

*Tortoise Sunglasses, similar here and here (in Dark Tortoise).

*Louis Vuitton Speedy handbag...definitely an *investment* piece. Several less expensive handbag alternatives for this look are: this handbag (in Cognac) shown above, from Banana Republic which looks gorgeous with the CV wedges and outfit. This bag would add extra visual interest and color, and this one is interesting with the ruffles, ruching, oversized buckle accent and chain strap.

*Btw, if you don't already know, I'm having a giveaway this week. Click here for more details. :)

Have a wonderful day! :)

xoxo,

  5. Love this outfit! I just ordered the BR shirt last night as an alternative to JCrew's Contrast Stitch shirt. I also bought the LOFT wedges during LOFT's F&F sale as an alternative to the Cynthia Vincent ones. Thanks for the great outfit idea for my new goodies :)

  6. So funny, this is almost exactly what I wore today, but I paired the chambray ON shirt with the J. Crew Jane ruffle cardi in Spice, even carried my Speedy, haha!

  7. As always, I love it! Do you like the shoes? Are they comfortable?

Just wondering what kinds of outfits you wear when you go out to dinner...

    Love your blog.

  8. Hi Ladies! Thank you all so much for stopping by! I do have to say that this combination is one of my absolute favorites, and the BR bag is so gorgeous IRL. It feels absolutely divine, too. :)

Carrie: I do love the CV for Target shoes. I haven't had the opportunity to wear them out yet, but they do seem like they'll be fairly comfortable. I have both the cognac and black because I love the way they look on, not to mention the price. :) As for going out to dinner, I normally try to wear my more *special* pieces, since I don't get the opportunity to wear them much on a day to day basis. Yesterday when I went out for a late lunch I wore my curator pants and a pretty tie-neck floral printed blouse with my black Kork Ease Bette Sandals. It was a dressy casual look. When I went out to dinner this past Tuesday I wore my J.Crew Jaipur tunic and flat sandals. For my birthday dinner I wore my curator pants and Pleated Paulette top with black peep-toe heels (picture on my post for today)since the restaurant was a slightly more *formal* environment. :)
