Merona® Tees at Target

Hey Everyone! It's FINALLY Friday...YAY!!! I hope your day is a FABULOUS one, too! :) Last night I made a trip to Target for some groceries and household supplies. I made my usual rounds checking out the new arrivals, sale racks, shoes, etc. While in the Merona® section I snapped a few pics of some tees they have available to share with you, since we all know that the pictures on the Target website are usually not a good representation of their items. (Several of these may end up on my *You Look Familiar...Have I Seen You Some Place Before?* post). :)

Flower Screen Slub Tee in Delicate Pink

Seashell Screen Slub Tee in Fresh White

Seahorse Slub Jersey Tee in Fresh White

Side Neck Ruffle Tee. My store had the Xavier Navy shown online and this color:

I don't see the next two online, so we'll call the first one the *Jewel Tee*:
and let's call this one the *Embroidered Tee*

What do you think of the Merona tees? Have you seen them at your Target? Do you own any? I'd love to hear your thoughts...

Have a beautiful and blessed day!

xoxo,

  1. They look cute, but I'm suspicious of their durability. After a cycle in the laundry, will they hold up? I, for one, could shrink a stone.....
so I wonder if they would be worth the buy?

  2. I like them, especially the seashorse tee! They remind me of j.crew's tees but like pebbles said the quality is probably not great, but for that price it might still be worth it!

  3. Happy Friday FFM, I have been taking pics of these to send them to you. I also saw some camp shirts from Merona and Mossimo at our Tarjay sore and it is only $15.00 :)). Have a Fabulous weekend!

  4. Hi pebbles and Living in Lilly! Thank you both for stopping by! :)

The tees at Target are fairly decent quality and these felt comparable to the ones at J.Crew. The first 5 I posted are on temporary sale for $10 right now, which is a decent price for them, IMO. If you launder them as you would a more expensive tee (delicate cycle in cold water and lay flat to dry) then they should last through multiple times of wearing them. :)

  5. Living in Lilly: The Seahorse tee has orange and blue on it. :)

  7. Hi Ann Marie! That tee is just so cute and the price is really fantastic, too! Did your store have any other colors? The one I took a picture of is the last one my store had, so it seems to have been a really good seller. :)

  8. These tees are cute, ON also has a seahorse tee out for the summer. My Walmart has similar slub cotton tees in solid colors and I find the quality is similar to JC embellished tees.

  9. casual-crew: Thanks for stopping by! I haven't been to Walmart in a very long time, so I'll have to go check out their tees. Thanks for posing about them. :) Btw, did you get moved into your new place? How are you doing these days?

  10. I love the seahorse one and the jcrewish looking one with flowers on the shoulder! If they still have them when June comes around, I'd like to pick those up!

  11. FFM: I moved at the end of March I am settling into my new place in the country which is a big change for me, so far so good. I am receiving better UPS service living here than at my old place.

    Have a great weekend!

  12. Hi Peggy! I really like the Seahorse one, too...almost bought it last night, but resisted temptation in the end. ;)

  13. casual-crew: I thought you had moved already...glad to hear you are enjoying your new place and doing well. You have a great weekend too! :)

  14. Those are super cute, I love the paisley one, and I have bought a couple of their shirts of late that resemble J. Crew or Loft, but only on clearance, because the quality isn't the best. I just throw mine in with my nicer shirts on the handwash cycle and hang dry to help them hold up a little better.

  15. Great post. I will have to check out the tees next time I am at Target. Haven't been to Target since March--usually am at Wal-Mart for my groceries, etc.

  17. I really like the Target embellished tees! I have the seahorse and shell you posted, and a bunch of others. They run TTS, don't tear or shrink in the wash (unlike YOU-KNOW-WHOSE) and if something fell off or they ripped, I wouldn't be sads like I would if I had spent $30+ (like those from YOU-KNOW-WHERE).

Pebbles, I wash them in cold and dry them flat if they have ornmentation. The ones that are just printed, I put in the dryer. Haven't noticed any major shrinkage

  18. I have the seahorse tee, however I can't come up with a cute outfit for it. You should create one :)

  19. mommydearest: Thanks for stopping by and sharing! The Seahorse and Shell are SO cute!!! :)

Sassy In The South: Congrats on the Seahorse tee, as well! It is really adorable! I'll style a set with it soon and post it here on the blog. :)

  21. I can never get a good fit with the Merona tees @ Target which is too bad, nice styles and good prices.

too boxy and the shoulders are never right

  22. My target did have this tee in white and the flowers were blue - however they were gone by the time I wanted to get another.

  23. I've only had one Target tee disappointment. Ironically, it was a tissue tee, like one of JCs. Other than that I've been happy w/all of my Target wear.
