A Version of the Merona® Dress Featured in Lucky Mag is Online Today

Remember this Merona® dress in Lucky Mag that I blogged about here at the beginning of the month?

Well, it appears that a sleeveless version of it is now available online at Target.com for anyone who is interested. It's the Merona® Collection Doubleweave Crepe Emme Dress in *Maple Syrup* for $39.99, sizes 2-16.

What do you think? Are you planning to purchase the sleeveless version of the dress? Do you think the dress in the magazine will actually become available? Do you think the sleeveless version is the only one that will be offered? Please do share! :)

Btw, there is a coupon code for $5 off a Merona® purchase of $25 or more: TGTME526 at checkout. I tried to use it on the Merona® Collection dress in a mock checkout and it didn't work unfortunately, so I think the code may only be good for the non-collection line. Please do post if you have success using it on a collection item.

  1. Thanks for pointing this out for everyone, FFM! I'm sure many will snap this up, camel is such a huge trend for fall.

I will be passing as I know that these Merona dresses are too short for me. If I were going to buy though, I think I might pause becaase of the lack of sleeve. I loved the sleeve in the Lucky look, I think it changes the proportions of the dress to do without the sleeve. Too bad they did that. I can see you could still wear a turtleneck under it, but I think then it looks a bit school girl jumper-ish a opposed to the chic look in the Lucky spread.

  2. Oh I hope they add the sleeved version - I love it much more than the sleeveless version, which is just kind of boring.

  4. I prefer the sleeved version. A trip to Target is on my list this week and if I see either version of the dress in store I'll pop back in.

  5. Thanks for sharing, FFM. I won't try the dress. Target.com could benefit from better photography. Even using my imagination I cannot get past the double stitched seam running down the center.

  6. I just ordered some non-Collection (I think) Merona dresses. The code didn't work, but there was a mysterious $5 deduction from my total. Maybe the $5 applies automatically when you buy Merona.

  11. I tried this in store (weird - a store in my area had these in the store even though it says online online on the website), but had to order a larger size online. Can't wait to get it! I actually prefer the sleeveless version because I can wear if for 3 seasons... with a long sleeved tee when it's colder. I found the dress to run slightly on the smaller/snug side, just an FYI! Will post a pic of the dress once it comes in the the *hopefully* correct sie!

  12. Thanks for the post, FFM! I was at the SoDo SuperTarget (on Orange Ave. south of downtown) yesterday and picked up the most adorable blue/black herringbone Collection shift. I'm guessing the Milennia SuperTarget has it as well. I'm finding these Merona dresses run a bit snug, so I sized up. BTW...I've moved from Albuquerque back to Orlando this summer. We exchanged emails about a year ago about your style consulting biz. I hope it's doing well! Love your blog and we might want to get a group of Orlando JCA's together soon.

  13. Thanks for stopping by ladies! I haven't seen the dress in my Target yet, but hopefully it will show up soon. I'd still like to try the sleeveless one, even though I prefer the magazine version.

  14. Leslie: How exciting that you're here in Orlando! I thought you were moving to the North East. We definitely need to catch up and getting together would be fun. :)

  15. i've checked out my local target in Seattle, they only had the sleeveless version, it looked dumpy on, i love the look in lucky, it seems the stylist used a slighty bigger size on the model as she is swimming in it a bit so imagine if anyone finds it online to get hte same look you would want to order one size up?

  16. I was in upstate New York for a wedding and checked the local Target there to see if they had the sleeved version of this dress--no luck.
