I LOVE leopard prints but would have never thought pairing it with a polka dot (micro) dress. I also think her tan and great legs work for her in this outfit. ;-)
I saw this a few days ago and shared it with a few friends. I love the pattern mix. I would love her large tortoise link bracelets! I wish I knew where they were from.
Hi ladies! Thank you so much for stopping by today! jcrewphd: Isn't it such an unexpected but fabulous combination? I think I'll be trying this one soon. :)Desert Flower: I fell in love with this look the day Scott posted it on his blog (as well as the other photo of her) and have every intention of recreating it. Are you planning on trying a similar combination as well? Since she's from Milan I'm guessing she picked the bracelets up there. Hopefully they'll make their way to the US soon. I would also love to own them. :)
Oh my goodness. FABULOUS!! Classic, yet utterly fresh, sophisticated, and unexpected! Reminds me of June Cleaver but taken up a notch! I LOVE classic pieces with a twist.
ITA Elizabeth! Just like an ever FABULOUS, yet updated June Cleaver! :)
This is a great look. I don't know that I would ever think to pair an animal print with a polka dot dress, but it really gives it a fresh, modern twist. May have to try that!
Truly beautiful! I wish I had a better eye for mixing patterns like this. Thanks for the inspiration FFM!
Chrissy and Roxy: Thanks for stopping by! :)
I love this, too!!
I've been experimenting with mixing animal prints and other patterns, and to my surprise I find it works pretty well! (This is a big step for me as I'm pretty conservative!) Love that shirtdress, too. Talbots had one like it last spring, minus the dots, and I regret not grabbing it.
NoJCrewinJapan: You know what they say about great minds and all! ;)Hexicon: I'm glad to hear that you're stepping out of your comfort zone a bit, and I'm sure you look fabulous, too! :)
Beautiful- this is going in the inspiration folder as well. Thanks for sharing!!
Oh, to be so perfect! I love this! Thanks for sharing!
Oh wooooooooooow, this is gorgeous! I love the pattern mixing, and the cut of her dress is so gorgeous!
I absolutely love the dress. Not a fan of animal prints until a couple of years ago and now I am liking them a bit more. The JCrew snow leopard jacket is what started me liking them. I pretty much stick to the snow leopard prints though:)in general now...
I am in love too! I would die for that dress although I'm not a big dress person (I think it is because polka dots make me happy, lol) and those shoes are fabulous.I love how she's mixing her patterns because I never would have thought to wear that together. Those chic European women!!!
hchamberlin: You would look fabulous in this look! I can't wait to see how you recreate the look! :)Carol: Thank you for stopping by! amy kelinda: ITA...absolutely GORGEOUS!!!Genny: The dress if beautiful, isn't it? I also like snow leopard prints and think the J.Crew Snow Leopard peacoat is stunning. You are lucky to have gotten one. :)fshnonmymind: I love polka dots, too! I hope a similar dress makes its way here to us. I've seen them in black, but not brown yet...fingers crossed. :)
I love it so much that your post was the inspiration for my outfit today. Thanks for the post.
Patina: You're welcome! I can't wait to try out this look myself. I stopped by your blog and want you to know that your outfit from today looks fantastic! :)
Yes, FFM, I'm going to try to recreate. I've got very similar shoes. I need a fuller skirt or a dress. I love the silhouette as much as the pattern! And I need to find those bracelets. LOVE.
Oh, I have been enjoying the sartorialist blog for some years now, always inspiring styles and beautiful photography.I just got AT leopard print calf hair pumps, love the look you posted!

It's true style when someone doesn't have to "think" about how to put something together...And you know you've found it when the feeling is effortless. I love Scott's blog, or any blog (FFM!, book or catalog, that inspires!
ME TOO!! L-O-V-E. I saved it to my lookbook :)
