J.Crew: Free Shipping On Any Order!!!

Hello Everyone! In case you didn't already know, J.Crew is offering FREE SHIPPING on any order with code FREESHIP at checkout, until 6.19.11. PLUS, they just recently added New Arrivals to the website...YAY!!! What a perfect opportunity to try out an item you've had your eye on or one of the latest editions. :)

Here are some of my picks for the promo. :)

*Paradisa Dress. So very, very pretty IRL, and the silhouette is super flattering, too.
*Jackie Cardigan. A great staple piece for every wardrobe. I own numerous colors which I've collected over the past several years.
*Mona Leather Pumps. Love all the colors offered, especially the Brick Red.
*Tippi Sweater. Beautiful classic silhouette, and SO many gorgeous colors!!! Definitely on my watch list! :)
*Lace-Front Top. Gorgeous in both colors...love!

*Alyssa Top. So pretty and feminine...navy and white are my favorite colors on this one.
*Heather Popover Hoodie. I'd love to see how soft this one feels. I like both colors, so if it feels anything like my Jaspe' Hoodie or Sweatshirt, it will definitely stay on my watch list.
*Featherweight Cashmere Multistripe Sweater. A tad *Brady Bunch*, but I adore the stripes and color combination...I would wear it.

*Stripe Blouson Dress. I didn't think much of this dress when it was shown in Lucky Magazine, but it looks quite cute on the model, especially belted. I would be willing to give it a try.
*Pluma Pendant Necklace. I had the opportunity to see this in person and the color is gorgeous. It was in the case so I can't say if it was too large or not, but it did look really lovely laid out.
*Reusable Tote in Animal Print. How cute!
*Surplus Pant. I actually bought these in the store last year in green and black, but they never made it to the website until now. The quality is good and they are really comfortable to wear.

*Summer Jacket in Crisp Linen . Absolutely adore this, especially in White. I would love to wear it over the matching white vest, but also on its own over a cami or blouse.
*Secretary Blouse. Love everything about it...the color, print, silhouette, and especially the sash tie at the neckline.
*Printed Scarf. Such pretty colors and prints.
*Hutton Chino. Love the wider leg and overall relaxed feel to these.
*Stripe Elsa Jacket. I like the cropped silhouette, and of course the stripes!
*Paisley Bermuda Short. The colors on this short are beautiful! Great price on them now, too. :)

*Minnie Pant in Seersucker. So fun and summery!
*Panama Hat. This was one of my Madewell picks, too. J.Crew offers it in different colors though. Very cute, and as I said before...the perfect way to still look chic on a bad hair day. :)
*Rowboat Dress. This is adorable! I love the buttons on the back. The tough decision would be choosing which color to get.
*Eva Espadrille Sandals. Cute. Cute. Cute.

*Shrunken Fisherman Sweater. This is really nice in person and runs TTS. I like all three colors. Here are the white and beechwood:

*Navy Schoolboy Blazer. A great staple piece that can be updated in years to come by switching out the buttons.
*Urbanite Shift Dress. Such a cute dress...perfect for casual summer days or running errands.
*Madras Popover. I have this one...love the colors and the plaid. You can't see it well in the online pic, but there is a line of golden yellow that runs through the plaid, so gold accessories look really cute with it.
*Silk Sophie Blouse. I love this one...reminds me so much of Tory Burch with the little gold buttons. Easily dressed up with a pencil skirt and heels or dressed down with a pair of bermudas, capris, or jeans. Here is one of the ways I plan on wearing it in 'Muslin'.
Sophie and Lolli

*Rialta Tweed Jacket. So chic and the color is absolutely lovely IRL...great price on this one now, too. Size down for a less boxy fit, btw.
*Schoolboy Blazer in Madras. The colors on this look really nice, not to mention very versatile since it will go with numerous tops, skirts, pants, or shorts.
*Katie Eyelet Cami. A great piece to wear this summer with bermuda shorts or capris and a fab pair of sandals.
*Silk driving scarf. I have this in the Modern Red (floral pattern) and wear it often. The silk is lovely...this is a great price for it, too.
*Herringbone Schoolboy Blazer. If I didn't already have a linen blazer in a similar color I would be considering this one.
*Luxe Baseball Tee. This looks so comfy...love the color, too.
*Eyelet Pencil Skirt. This is a new markdown and sure to go quick at this price...get yours now if you're contemplating one.

*Lula Glitter Ballet Flats. Love! Of course they are the focal point of any outfit, so keep the rest of your clothing basic when wearing them. For example, they look so cute worn with a basic white or light grey tee and pair of rolled up jeans or white bermuda shorts along with silver accessories.

*Doria Dress. I absolutely love maxi dresses, so of course I would love to try this one IRL.
*Sidewalk blazer in summer plaid . Love the color on this one!
*Linen Maddie Pant in Gauguin Orange. I love the silhouette of the pant, not to mention the fabulous color. I knew I wanted to try them the minute I saw them on Marissa Webb in this photo from the Fall 2011 Preview. I really like the way she has them paired with the tan-colored blouse, so I will try a similar look by pairing them with this blouse(in Mineral Deposit) that I have from Old Navy.
*Tisbury bucket bag in Natural. What a cute bag to carry in spring and summer with more casual outfits.
*Double-strand charm necklace. Love the layered look and the fact that it isn't over-sized (especially since I'm absolutely loving delicate necklaces and earrings right now).

Will you be taking advantage of the FREESHIP promo? Have you seen any of the new arrival in person? Is there anything you have your eye on? Do you have an item you love and would highly recommend? Please do share! :)

Have a lovely day!

xoxo,

  4. I went to the store on Tuesday and picked up the summerlong sweater in tropical pink white and the cafe capris in dried rose. Obviously, I'm on some pink kick. I might return the sweater though because I think the material mix might make it look like a hot mess after some wearing.

I also bought the Tippi sweater yesterday in bright dahlia because I adore that color. I kick myself for not getting the pants when they came out.
