Zara Online Shopping is Finally Here!!!

Zara Online Shopping is finally here...YAY! Not only can United States shoppers purchase their merchandise online now, but the shipping and returns are FREE!!! How fabulous is that?

I've done a little bit of online window shopping on the Zara site, and here are a few of the items that have caught my eye so far:

Polka Dot Shirt: Love the color and it's 100% Silk.

Double Breasted Frock Coat: Great silhouette and the gold buttons give added interest to the basic color.

Blazer with Wide Lapels: Look at that gorgeous color!

Polka-Dot Dress: Yes Please!!!
You can see how pretty this one looks here on Dinster . :)

Three-Tone Jumper: Love those colors...

I am also fortunate to have two Zara stores nearby, and bought the Retro-stripe T-Shirt which I blogged about here back in August. :)

What are your thoughts about the Zara online store? Have you had the opportunity to look over the merchandise? Is there anything you're considering, or have you already made a purchase? Please do share!

Have a lovely day!

xoxo,

  1. I haven't looked at the online store (too scared too!) but I tried on the blazers and suits in store and LOVE them -- the fit is very lean, with these sharp shoulders -- but not quite Alexis Carrington sharp, you know? Which is good. They also have slouchy blazers and coats, which look great on the models but doesn't translate so well when you're under 5,5'! Ah well. Have fun shopping!

  2. Have no Zara near me, or even in my state, so I'm excited about this. So far the only item I'm getting is the two tone pump, the one thatnis camel with a black toe.

Are you placing an order, FFM?

  5. Wow, it really is a global village now, if only J Crew would adjust the dollar to sterling to the present exchange rate now that they are delivering out my way.
Zara is great for directional pieces and they have stunning shoes but they are usually high high heels which I can't walk in.

  6. dinster: I just updated my post with a link to your Zara fall dresses post...hope you don't mind! :)

  7. Desert Flower: I almost purchased the black and white polka dot blouse last night but hesitated and now it is sold out. I am seriously contemplating ordering the Polka-dot Dress after seeing it on dinster, but I'm just not sure the silhouette will be overly flattering on me. Maybe I should go for the Polka dot shirt instead? I'll have to continue to contemplate...

  9. Tabitha: I hear ya' on the heels! I used to be able to wear 4-inch ones on a daily basis prior to having my boys AND getting older. Now I can only bear them for a few hours unless they have a wedge heel.

  10. Now that more sites offering Always Free Shipping (Nordstrom, Shopbop, Zappos, Zara) puts pressure on non-Free Shipping sites (J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Macy's) to change their ways!

I mean, these companies get to sell their wares without opening and staffing a storefront! I know web sites aren't free either, with the photo shoots and updates and hosting, but I think Free Shipping should be a standard across the board.

  11. Faith J: I completely agree with you! I just made a comment about the ridiculous shipping charges at J.Crew over on the 'Vent' post at J.Crew Aficionada earlier this morning. The fact that they refuse to offer reduced or even free shipping really deters me from purchasing now. I'm much more likely to give something at Zara, Nordstrom, Endless.com, etc. a try because of their shipping and return policies, which means J.Crew gets less of my clothing budget these days.

  12. I have two Zaras nearby, but honestly I can never find anything I spy online in-store, so it actually had been a source of frustration - until now! I have already been bad with the Zara site and last night purchased a blazer, a blouse and a dress. They seem to update a often with new arrivals too, so if they keep the free ship up, I am in trouble!

  13. Lisa-respect the shoes: I have the same problem finding the items online in the Zaras near me, too. Plus if I do find what I'm looking for my size always seems to be sold out, so I am really very pleased that they have the online store now. Congrats on getting your goodies last night! Did you get the chance to shop the sale section at all?

  15. This is so exciting. The nearest Zara is 6 hours away, but I had the opportunity to visit one while on business last month, and I literally tried on the entire store. It was great, because now I can gauge the sizing. Is it sad that I placed an order at 4 am?

  16. I'm sooooo happy to see this! I love Zara but I have to drive 2 hours to get to the closest one. This makes me even more excited for fall shopping!

  17. Hi Fabulous Mommy!

Thanks for the heads up! I took a look at the site and it's full of chic, desirable clothes. So exciting!

My only question is, I've never been to a Zara store in the U.S., is it supposed to be this expensive here? I thought the prices were a bit high. I've been to Zara in other countries and always remembered it as a relatively inexpensive store, kind of like, H&M maybe?

  18. How amazing, I love Zara. I just found out there is one only 5 min from my house!!!! Super excited!

  20. LauraK: I don't think it's sad at all that you placed an order early in the AM! It appears as if a lot of things were selling out quickly, so shopping early was the best way to make sure you got what you wanted. :)

  21. Crystal: Me too! I enjoy shopping in the store, but with 4 boys it isn't always easy to get there, so having Zara available online is absolutely fabulous! :)

  22. Hi Greta! The prices at the Zara stores near me have always been higher than H&M, so I wonder if it is just a U.S. thing? They do have pretty decent sales if you can catch your size when they do mark downs (which is what I'm hoping I'll be able to do now that they are online). :)

  23. The Outfit of the day: YAY!!! I am so excited for you! I'm also very happy to hear that you are enjoying your new city! :)

  24. I ordered the polka dot dress, hope it is as cute in person:)

  25. simplydreaming: Please let me know what you think of the dress once it arrives! :)

  26. Got the polka dot dress, love it! I ordered an x-small and I can't decide if I should size up to the small. The puff shoulders seem to maybe hit at the wrong spot but it could just be me. Kicking myself for not ordering the similar green polka dot top.

  27. simplydreaming: That is fabulous news!!! I am so happy to hear that you love the dress and had a great online shopping experience, too! Thank you for stopping back by to let me know! :)
