Yes Please!!!

This is another dress from Ralph Lauren that I have my eye on right now...love the pretty colors and feminine silhouette. A perfect dress to wear for many different occasions during the spring and summer months...dress it up with a pair of heels, or wear it with a pair of flat sandals for a 'casual chic' look.

After receiving the Polka-dot Cotton Shirtdress a couple weeks ago, I am confident that the quality on the Crossover Pleated Dress will be excellent. I imagine it will also  more than likely be prettier in person than it is in the online picture (just like the polka-dot dress is). This one has been added to my wishlist. :)

  2. FFM that dress is great! I'm going to see if it is available at The Bay, a department store up here that does free ship and returns.
I am curious to try the Lauren brand after your good experience with the beautiful polka dot dress!

    1. Ditto that - I am going to check my Bay here too, I love that dress! I have a great Lauren sheath that I wore to many events last year.

    2. Hi Dani! I hope you're able to find Ralph Lauren available to you up there. I am so pleased with the quality of my Polka-dot Shirtdress and will definitely be adding more from the RL line to my wardrobe. I used to purchase RL several years but then became a bit obsessed with J.Crew and focused my sights on there. However, over the past couple of years I have been looking elsewhere to fulfill my wardrobe needs, and returning to some of my past loves, as well.

    4. Hi FFM, I found it at The Bay! I've ordered it to try. I'm really a copy-cat! It's just the sort of dress I've been looking for for my holiday this summer. That full skirt looks perfect.
I wanted to tell you as well that I bought the big dot dress in store and it is perfect on, the fit is great. It is very 1950's. It will also be coming with me on holiday. :)
Today is your girls day out: have fun!

  3. You're right, that dress is so pretty, and the polka dot was fabulous on you. How do sizes run versus JC?

    1. Thanks audreys! :) The Polka-dot Shirtdress is my first purchase (other than a belt) in several years from RL, so I'm not certain how all of their sizes are running, but the dresses seem to be comparable to J.Crew, maybe just a tad larger. Size 2 is the larger of my two dress sizes (O and 2) at J.Crew, Anthro, Kate Spade, Milly, Trina Turk, and Tory Burch. Size 2 appears to be the smallest size available at RL and it fits me well, although I think a size 0 would have also worked. Women who are smaller than a size 0 at J.Crew may be sized out of RL, unless they have alterations done (which would be VERY worth it, IMO) or find something in their Petites line. HTH! :)
