A Little This, A Little That...

Love the Dior dress that Marion Cotillard wore at the Cannes Film Festival...

So true...

Remember this photo with the polka-dot capris from my 'Love This...' post here back in February? Well, I came across a photo recently that I thought you might enjoy seeing...it is of the same pants worn on someone else, and styled in a different way. What do you think of the look?

Speaking of my 'Love This...' posts...remember this image from my post here back in March?
Well, I came across this photo recently that shows the same outfit from a different angle...how adorable is this look? Love it! :)

Best-Ever Banana Bread

I came across this recipe for banana bread awhile ago. I was running low on butter and needed one that used oil instead. I am so pleased to have found this particular recipe, as it is absolutely delicious and has become a fast favorite in the Fabulous Florida Mommy household. :)

Ingredients:
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. cooking oil
3 very ripe bananas
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Directions:
Cream sugar, oil, eggs, and bananas together (until the bananas are completely mashed). Sift soda, salt, and flour together, then add to the creamed mixture. Mix at high speed for two minutes.  Pour into well greased loaf pans or baking dish (I usually double this recipe and bake it in a 9x13 inch dish). Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until golden brown (test with a toothpick to check if done). When I double the recipe it takes about an 1.25 hours to bake completely. I cover the dish with aluminum foil for the last 15-20 minutes so that the top doesn't get too brown.

That's it for now...

So what have you been up to this week? Do you have any plans for the upcoming Holiday weekend? Please do share! I always love to hear from you! :)

xoxo,

  1. The black dress was simply stunning. Not overdone, and the way she wore it with her hair up and minimal accessories was perfect.

  2. Oh, I LOOOOOOVED Marion Cotillard's dress! I think that she has amazing taste - she doesn't use a stylist, apparently, which just makes me love her sartorial choices even more.
