A Little This, A Little That...

Love This...

And This...

Absolutely stunning...

This Too...

Love these images of Jackie O...she was always so elegant and chic. Did you know she would have been 83 years-old this past Saturday? I often wonder what she would think of the clothing today if she were still alive. What are your thoughts?

On another note...some of you may remember my Kate Spade New York 'Fabulous Factory Store Find' that I blogged about here last December.

The shortened version of the story is that I came across the
Jana Bead-Neck Printed Top at the Kate Spade Factory Store and was able to purchase it for only $28.28. Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled and was really looking forward to wearing it once the weather warmed up a bit. I thought I would share an update with you... I have worn the top several times over the past couple of months and remembered to snap a pic the last time I did. (I know. I can hardly believe it either!)

I still love this top, and consider it to be one of my best finds so far, especially for the price. I did make another visit to the Kate Spade Factory store a couple weeks ago, to see if there might be the slim chance that one of the Pippa dresses in my size ended up there, but no such luck. There were plenty of other cute items in the store, but none of them were on my list, or part of my Fall Shopping Plan, so I left empty-handed. How about you? Have you been to the Kate Spade Factory Store lately? Find any goodies while you were there?

What are your plans for the upcoming weekend? The boys and I are headed over to Shriners Hospital in Tampa today, as my 6 year-old has a follow-up visit for the surgery he had there a month ago. He has been doing well and making a lot of progress after the procedure, so I expect this follow-up visit to be a good one. Saturday I am spending the day helping my friend cater a wedding reception (she owns her own Catering business), and then Sunday is my eldest son's 14th birthday, so I will spend the day celebrating with him. I think we may go to BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. Have any of you been there? The menu has a wide variety of foods to choose from, and the menu selections we have tried so far have all been excellent. You should give the place a try if you get the chance.

That's it for now...

So what have you been up to this week? Do you have any special plans for the weekend? Please do share...I always love to hear from you! :)

xoxo,

  1. Hi FFM!

First - so glad all is well with your son! All else pale in comparison, doesn't it? I also love Tampa - such a great city!

The Kate Spade top is very cute on you! Just love it - Oh to be able to wear a top like that!!!

I truly love all of the images above - I love it when you show these! I need a bicycle like that!

What would Jackie think? I think she would like a lot of it. I expect on a day to day, she would mostly wear Michael Kors. I think he would be her sportswear muse!

As for the weekend - I start vacation and actually am going to organize the fall wardrobe, finish my planning, etc and then start to get organized for France!

I didn't realize it until I made my Polyvore set of this outfit, but Egyptomaniac and I do both own the same top! Like you said...great minds and all. ;)

  5. Such good news about your son.

BJs is a favorite in our family. When we go we often split entrees since the serving sizes are so big. Sometimes it's daunting to get through that menu! You don't often see one that big.

I wish I could find sunglasses like Jackie O's. Didn't she always look perfect?

    1. Thank you Desert Flower! :)

I have a difficult time deciding what to order at BJs because of the large selection, and because I want a little bit of practically everything, too. I do love that there is a little something for everyone though! It makes it much easier to decide where to go when there is a large dinner party.

  14. you look wonderful in the ksny top! The outlet can find out if other stores have something you are looking for and then send it to you for 5$. Each shop gets different things so it really helps find the deals.

    1. Thank you Sandee! I am going to call my factory store tomorrow and see what they say about the Pippa dress. It pops back up every now and then on Zappos, but they still want over $300 for it, and that is way more than I want to pay for it.
