  2. I am going to try the DVF Samara skirt on this weekend when I'm traveling and will be in a city with stores that carry DVF. It looks great, I hope it's better than last season's DVF Ruthanne. That skirt was awful!

  3. Fashion question for my fashion idol.....I bought the Anne Klein taupe patent espadrilles (like Princess Kate's) and haven't worn them yet. Appropriate for fall?? Thanks.

    1. Hi Nantucket Daffodil! I am blushing! Thank you for the compliment! :)

It used to be that Patent was only for spring and summer, but now it is offered by many different retailers for fall and even winter, too, so the patent part is fine. However, I would personally consider the espadrille portion of the shoe to be for spring and summer, and would only wear the shoe until fall officially begins in late September. I know that many of the 'old' rules of fashion have changed, and some may say that as long as it is warm out you can wear them, but I would personally pack them away once fall is officially here.

    2. Thanks FFM! I'm with your way of thinking....so perhaps I'll wear the first week or 2 of school in September, and then retire them til spring....not sure these feet are ready to be out of flip flops.

  5. WHBM also has the identical colorblock pencil skirt, in lovely, forgiving ponte. AND a pair of skinny pants in the same python print that JC is splashing about this month, along with another skirt that appears to combine the python print with the porcelain paisley...
