You Look Very Familiar...Have I Seen You Some Place Before?

Hello Everyone! I hope you're having a great week so far! It's time for another edition of *You Look Very Familiar...Have I Seen You Some Place Before?*, so let's get started! :)

J.Crew Bulldog Sweater (not yet online)

J.Crew Lace Tee

The print on this skirt reminds me of the print on the J.Crew Collection Golden Paisley blouse and Collection golden paisley pant.

J.Crew Majesty Peacoat in Navy

A big THANK YOU goes to Paula, Gigi (of the blog Gigi's Gone Shopping), and Janice for sharing the next 'Familiar Finds' with us:

From Paula:

*Long Sleeve Shift Dress in Leopard Print (just remove the thin belt)

From Gigi:

*This one is a similar sleeveless version.

From Janice:

Thanks again Paula, Gigi, and Janice! Btw, if you have a *Familiar Find* you would like to share, please feel free to email it to me: FabulousFloridaMommy@cfl.rr.com.

That's it for this week's edition...I hope you've enjoyed it!

xoxo,

  1. I love your "You look very familiar" but when I see the Forever 21 items I don't go further because that retailer's sizing runs so small I know I cannot buy it. Yes they have the plus line (I am not a plus size but need bigger than junior sizing)but find their selection is very limited in that dept. Just a thought/request.

    1. Thank you Nancy! Many of the posts have other retailers besides Forever . This week just happens to be more 'F21' themed than usual. :)

  2. I really like that cute leopard dress from Target...it would be too short as a dress on me but maybe it could pass as a tunic?? Love this post!

    1. Thank you Jenni! I could see it as a tunic, although the pic of it on the model doesn't make it look overly short. Might be worth a try as a dress, too. :)

  3. I love, love, love the burnished rhinestone bracelet. Better than the JC. Thanks for sharing these. Not a fan of the doggie sweaters, but I love your alts :)

  4. FFM - Thanks as always for a job well done!

Such a lovely blog. I said this a few weeks ago but thank you again for being such a positive place in the cess pool that is the internet. I know I can come here and it is just such a bright spot.

About the Merona dress - for the person commenting on it. it is not short at all. Without the belt it comes to touch my knees. I am 5'5. In fact, I will have it shortened so it looks more like a shift a la' that J. Crew picture. I wanted it to hang so I bought the medium (size 8 usually) but the small fit for a more fitted look that I was not as interested in. So I would say it is true to size, for the intended look of the dress. Very nice piece. There are also a skirt, short sleeved sweater and jacket in that print.

    1. Thank you so much Anon! You have made my week! :) Thank you also for the information about the Merona dress. It looks really cute! I'm going to have to visit my local Target to see if they have any of them, as well as the other pieces you noted. :)

  5. Thanks - I was really really impressed with the quality of items in this particular print. The dress seems to be selling quickly. I hope you get a chance to try it if you are interested. For someone who has any animal print it might not be necessary, but this was really my first venture into animal print and I liked that I could do it affordably. If you get it, I know you will look gorgeous in it! Love to see how people will style it. I plan to wear it with ankle boots and have it shortened. Many different possibilities thought. :)
