Monday Musings...Playing Favorites

Michael Kors 'Camille' Chronograph watch

I received this as an Anniversary gift from my husband recently, and absolutely adore it...so gorgeous IRL!

J.Crew Classic pavé link bracelet

This has become a 'go to' piece that I wear almost daily. It's a good deal with the extra
30% off CELEBRATE promotion that's going on until 12.20.12, too.

J.Crew Schoolboy blazer in navy

Another great staple piece in my wardrobe. I've been reaching for this one on a weekly basis since our weather has cooled down a bit. Nice price with the extra 30% off, too.

GAP Favorite long-sleeve crewneck T

I initially blogged about getting this one (in several colors) here back in October, and have been wearing them on a constant basis ever since. The quality is very good, the material is not thin, the fit is flattering, and the basic colors I chose work well with my current wardrobe.

J.Crew Calf hair skinny belt

I have 2 of these...one from 2010 that I wear as a waist belt, and then another one from last year that I wear as a 'regular' belt. The belt is extremely versatile, and adds a bit of interest to outfits. Once again, this one is at 30% off with code CELEBRATE until Thursday.

J.Crew Sterling skirt in double-serge wool from 2011-

There is an updated version out this year that has a straighter cut than the previous one. While it doesn't work for me, I know there are many who are very pleased with it. You can see the new version here.

Mossimo® Kailyn Leather Buckle Boot -

Love these boots, and have been wearing them constantly since getting them. Extremely versatile and comfortable. You can see my complete review here.

WEN® by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing conditioner -

I was born with naturally curly hair, but after the birth of each of my three youngest sons, my hair became increasingly straight and unable to hold curl. I had pretty much given up on ever being able to wear any hairstyle other than an updo, but finally decided to give the WEN Cleansing Conditioner a try in April after contemplating it for over a year prior.

What a lifesaver it has turned out to be! All of my natural curl and waves have returned, plus my hair is incredibly soft and much healthier now, too. I had given up on ever being able to wear my hair down again, and now I do every day. It has been quite the life changing experience for me...I wish I had not waited so long to give it a try. :)

(I previously mentioned the WEN Cleansing Conditioner here and here, too.)

I originally blogged about this one here back in March 2010, then again later that year here, and have mentioned it in several other posts since then, too. This is a beautiful red that works well on all skin tones. If you think you cannot wear red lipstick, then give this one a try...I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Lancôme 'La Vie est Belle' Eau de Parfum -

This has become my 'signature' scent as of late, and I receive compliments every time I wear it. I even bought the shower gel and body lotion so that I could layer the scents...yes, I love it that much! :)

Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate bar - YUMMY! Need I say more?

What are a few of your Favorite Things? Please do share...I always love to hear from you! Have a lovely day! :)

  2. I love the WEN as well, thank you so much for telling me about it. I often wear my hair down in curls, no longer stuck with an up-do every day.
I must try that lipstick. My new favorite thing is a big bottle of Chanel No5, I've never worn this perfume before but I love it.

    1. Oh you are so very welcome, Dani! I'm glad that you decided to give the WEN a try. It really is a 'life changer', isn't it?

I received a large bottle of Chanel No5 for my birthday last year, and love it, as well. Such a gorgeous scent, and it's easy to see why it is such a classic. :)
