A Little This, A Little That...

Love This...

And This...

Absolutely Stunning...

This Too...

Yes Please!!!

These Too!!!

So True...

This has happened too many times for me to count actually...how about you?

A terrible cold bug hit the Fabulous Florida Mommy household last week, and I was doing a great job at avoiding it up until earlier this week when it hit me hard. You know how it is...coughing, sneezing, runny nose, plus aches and pains, all of which have been accompanied by an excruciating headache. No fun at all! Thankfully, my husband and boys have been managing a lot of the 'day to day' domestic chores, which has given me time to rest.

It has also afforded me time to watch a few movies on Amazon Prime, as well as start on a television series I had only watched on occasion previously. What did I watch? Well, here are a few of them:

The Great Gatsby (1974) starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow. Love, love, love all the costumes and Robert Redford, of course!

Taken 2 starring Liam Neeson. This is the sequel to the original movie Taken, and while not as good as the first one, it was still action packed and entertaining...plus it starred Liam Neeson, who just happens to be one of my favorite actors. Did you know that he is 60 years old? I couldn't believe it when I read it either!

Fringe starring Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson. I had previously watched one or two episodes of this series several years ago, but always felt as if I needed to watch it from the beginning to completely understand just what was going on, so now that is what I have been doing. I am only on Season 1, but have found it to be quite interesting so far.

That's it for now...I hope you all have a lovely weekend! Do you have anything fun and exciting planned? Just going to relax at home? Please do share! I always love to hear from you! :)

xoxo,

  2. Sorry to hear you were sick. It's been a terrible cold and flu season.

I have a Longchamp bag just like that, in grey. I use it a lot, especially for travel. It's expandable and durable, and I don't feel too badly about putting it under the airplane seat.

    1. Thank you Desert Flower! The colds and flu have been running rampant around here lately. I'll be glad when the season for all these sicknesses is over.

I have one of the bags in black and absolutely love it. I used it on our trip to Shriners this past Monday, and it was perfect. Now I am looking for a second or even third color, and I love both the camel and navy. The white looks quite nice for spring and summer, too. :)

  3. FFM, so sorry you've been other the weather. My DH has been flying around for work and caught one of those sick seatmate airplane lurgies. I hope he gets over it before he brings it home. Glad your DH and boys have been doing their best and keep resting up. FYI, I have my closet version of the outfit you posted yesterday on today (grey tee, blue scarf etc.) Just no sandals, still boots here. But will break those out soon as I can.
