Style Inspiration by FFM: The Liberty Perfect Shirt in June's Meadow Floral from J.Crew

Happy Spring Everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! :) This post continues an ongoing feature called *Style Inspiration by FFM*, where I will post one or more of my Polyvore set designs and include links to items you can purchase to re-create the look if you so choose. Some of the set designs will be outfits I am wearing or have worn in the past, others will be *reader request* sets, and some will simply be outfits I would love to wear. (If possible I try to include a *real life* photo of me in the outfit if it's something I'm wearing at the time. Of course my schedule doesn't always allow time for snapping a pic, but it is definitely something I hope to include more of with this feature in the future.)

Now on to today's *Style Inspiration by FFM*...the following are sets I styled for a reader request featuring the J.Crew Liberty Perfect shirt in June's Meadow Floral.

I recently purchased this shirt on sale/promo and absolutely love it. The colors/print are subtle, feminine, and much prettier IRL than they appear online. This is the outfit I wore with the shirt to run errands and take two of my boys to their well-check visits last week:

Liberty Perfect Shirt in June's Meadow Floral - One

Get the look:

*My jacket is the J.Crew schoolboy blazer in navy, and it has been one of my best purchases over the past couple of years. I was hesitant to pay the higher amount for a blazer, but this one was well worth the money spent. If you prefer a less expensive option there is a similar blazer here.
*Of course my shirt is the Liberty Perfect shirt in June's Meadow Floral which is one of my favorite recent purchases.
*My jeans are the Vintage slim jean in rustic wash from J.Crew which I purchased on sale a couple years ago. They are sold out, but there is a similar pair here and here.
*My gold hoop earrings are made by Monet and were purchased at Macy's a couple years ago. They are a staple piece in my wardrobe, and I wear them almost every day. There is a similar option here.
*Michael Kors Goldtone 'Camille' Watch. This was an anniversary gift from my DH last year, and another staple piece in my wardrobe.
*My bracelet is the J.Crew Classic pavé link bracelet, which I purchased on promo with an extra % off last year. Love, love, love this bracelet, and wear it almost daily. (Similar here.)
*Aviator sunglasses purchases awhile ago (now sold out) - similar options here and here.
*My handbag is the Chloe "Paddington" Leather Satchel now sold out. Similar options here and here.
*J.Crew Lizzie Tumbled leather driving mocs in sand/stone from several years ago. Similar option here.

A similar combination as the one above works equally well with my red blazer from Zara that I purchased last year. The red flowers in the shirt really stand out when worn with it, as you can see in the pics below...

Another option with the red blazer...

Liberty Perfect Shirt in June's Meadow Floral - Two

*The Zara blazer is sold out, but there are similar red blazer options here and here.
*Liberty Perfect shirt in June's Meadow Floral.
*Wide-leg jeans thrifted a couple years ago - similar options here and here.
*Monet gold hoop earrings from Macy's - similar option here.
*Aviator sunglasses purchases awhile ago (now sold out) - similar options here and here.
*Coach Large Ergo handbag in 'British Tan' purchased many years ago - similar option here in 'saddle', and here in 'camel'.
*Kork-Ease 'Bette' Wedge sandals in 'natural' also purchased several years ago. These are extremely comfortable despite the 4 inch heel, and I especially love the way they look when worn with wide-leg or flare jeans.

Liberty Perfect Shirt in June's Meadow Floral - Three

    1. Thanks ina! This is my favorite liberty print so far, and I just love the shirt. It does run TTS, and mine is a size 0, which is my 'normal' size for perfect shirts. HTH! :)

  3. It's almost a neutral, it's so versatile. I'm normally not drawn to the liberty prints due to my aversion to pastels. This is a color palette I could wear!

    1. I agree Desert Flower, and that is one of the reasons this one actually works for me, when so many of the other Liberty shirts do not. The colors and print are subtle, which I really like.

  7. Hi FFM,
You have to know I would appreciate these sets since the Schoolboy version of this print came home with me on a recent promo. FYI, there is a JC Factory version of the pave link bracelet that is decent quality (thinner links than the original). Backordered for a couple of weeks, but now on promo at $41.50 so a better price than the Bauble Bar one.

    1. Hi GetFresh! How wonderful that you got the Schoolboy in June's Meadow! It is the perfect addition to your collection, not to mention so very pretty! :)

Thanks for the heads up about the Factory version of the pave' link bracelet. Looks like it's marked down to $34.50 today, so definitely a fantastic deal for those looking for a less expensive alternative to the original.

  8. I really love it when you do these sets....and also sharing what you wore them for. They inspire me to work a little harder putting together my outfits when going on "just" running errands, doctors appts etc...instead of waiting for a special occasion to come along :)
