Wish Me Luck - My 5 Day Detoxifying Fast & Cleanse Starts Tomorrow

Wish me luck...I start tomorrow. I did this fast in February of this year, and it was really tough, at least for the first 3 days. However, I really loved the way I felt and looked after it was over, so I'm going for it again.

Truth is, I've been overindulging in the baked goods and sweets lately, so I'm starting to feel a bit sluggish, not to mention my pants are feeling snug, and I feel like my digestive system needs a good 'reboot' again. This detoxifying fast from Nature's Secret made me feel really phenomenal once it was all over...I started craving vegetables again, my taste buds seemed as if they had been reset, and all of the healthy foods that I normally eat tasted extra good. My energy level increased, and so did my overall sense of well-being.

I am really looking forward to feeling that way again. Now I just have to find the willpower to make it through the 5 days...when I was younger I could have done it with no problem whatsoever, but the older I get, the harder it is to skip a meal, let alone 5 days worth. I am thinking positively though, and keeping my focus on the end goal of feeling phenomenal...hey, I got this! :)

  1. I'm intrigued. I think I'll wait for your report before diving in :) You've done it once already though. I am feeling like a bit of a reboot myself.

    1. Hi Desert Flower! I am now on day two, and it hasn't been as bad as it was the first time, since I know more of what to expect. I also am using Odwalla juice to mix the fiber powder in, and that really helps a lot. I did that on the last two days of my previous detox with this program, so I knew to get the juice before starting it again this time. The times it gets the hardest is when I'm fixing meals for my family. Otherwise if I avoid the kitchen it isn't that difficult to go without the food. Let me know if you decide to try it!

    1. Hi anon! Tomorrow is my last day, and it was not as difficult this time as it was when I did it back in February of this year, but I knew to mix the fiber powder with Odwalla juice. This made it much more tolerable to swallow, and also gave me a little more energy than I had the first time around. I did not notice as significant results this time, but I think that is due to the fact that I exercise and eat pretty healthy on a daily basis. However, I do feel much better overall since getting rid of all the toxins in my system, and even managed to lose a couple of pounds in the process. It's tough, but I think it's worth it.
