Life Simplified...Thankful Thursday

Life can be difficult or stressful no matter your circumstance...where you live and work, whether you're married or single, have a child, lots of children, or no children at all. This week has been an exceptionally difficult one for me...I have had one of those periods of time when I cannot bear to be alone with my thoughts. A couple of situations that have taken place have left me with feelings of hurt and anxiety. Do you ever find yourself feeling this way?

I believe that in these times it is extra important to think of all the good things in your life, no matter how small, as it really does help to put your focus on the positive. Instead of being caught up in all the 'bad stuff' happening in your life, it can help to change your attitude into one of gratitude, making your present life and circumstances much more enjoyable.

Today I am sharing my list of 10 Things I am Thankful for on this Thursday...

1. God's Promises.

2. Sunshine.

3. My family.

4. Electricity.

5. That my son is able to receive physical therapy.

6. Successfully completing my 5-day detox fast.

7. My sister who always encourages me...she is one of my biggest supporters.

8. Comments left on my blog posts.

9. The colors of the changing leaves.

10. Fresh baked bread straight from the oven.

What are you thankful for today?

  3. *BIG HUG* I am sending you all my positive thoughts. I hope your anxieties resolve themselves so that you and your loved ones may have peace again. I'm thankful for the days when the sun shines through, and for a warm bed to fall asleep in as the nights turn chillier.

    1. Thank you so much AMW! I have learned from past experience that if you are feeling down or having troubles, that just thinking about the good things that you do have in your life, or helping others who may be in need, is one of the best ways to turn things around. In the end, more often than not, it makes you feel better and even helps you to forget your own worries and troubles.

I truly appreciate your positive thoughts! Thank you so much for sharing the things you are thankful for, too! :)
