Outfit Post - What I Wore...

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a lovely weekend so far! For the past week I have been sharing pics of what I've been wearing each day on my Instagram page, so I thought I'd also share them here on my blog. A sort of 'Outfit Post Recap', if you will, for those who do not follow me on Instagram, or do not even use it at all.

9.29.14 - The temps were in the lower 60's this day, thus the flip-flops, but I did throw on my UA black hoodie (I also have the same one in grey) in the late afternoon when it started to cool down.

That's it for today...we are headed out to visit the Kootenai Falls, do a little bit of hiking, have a picnic lunch, and then enjoy the gorgeous ride back home through the mountains. The weather is forecast to be sunny with a high of 74 degrees, so it should be a perfect day to make the trip. :)

I hope you all have a beautiful and relaxing Sunday!

  1. Thanks for pics and styling ideas. Your weather seems similar to mine, all over the place but I did get a chance to break out some sweaters and boots for a couple of days thus week. Enjoy your day

    1. Hi JRSConifer! Our weather has been up and down the past month or so. Looks as if it will warm back up again this week. From what I hear it has been unseasonably warm this year, since it usually stays in the 50's around this time.

    1. Thanks Wendy! I cannot seem to completely do away with my sandals just yet. Guess that probably comes from spending most of my life in them, or else barefoot. :)

  3. All of your looks are so comfortable and stylish at the same time. I really like the denim on top and bottoms but find it hard to pull off. It looks great on you. Enjoy your hike. It sounds like it will be a perfect day. We did a long hike and picnic lunch the other day and there is nothing better to renew the spirit, especially this time of year. Enjoy.

    1. Thank you AmW! The denim on denim was one of my favorite looks for last week, so I appreciate the compliment. It really is a daily occurrence to see the look on people here, too. Not just women, either. The cowboys have been wearing denim on denim for years, and continue to do so to this day. :)

Yesterday's trip was wonderful! The falls were gorgeous, and the boys really enjoyed walking across the river on the swinging bridge.

  8. I'm digging the denim on denim look from Oct 4! I didn't think I'd like that kind of pairing, but you're making it work with that nice pop of leopard from the belt. :)
