Outfit Post: What I Wore...

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a lovely weekend so far! I have been sharing pics of what I've been wearing each day on my Instagram page again this past week, so I thought I'd also share them here on my blog. A sort of 'Outfit Post Recap', if you will, for those who want the details of each look, who do not follow me on Instagram, or possibly do not even use it at all.

On Monday-Friday of every week, my days look something like this...I get up extra early so that I can work for several hours (I work from home) before the rest of the family gets up. Then I fix breakfast for everyone, teach school lessons to my four boys, followed by taking my eldest son Jake to and from Biology class, running any errands that need to be done, taking Wyatt to physical therapy on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as taking Garrett to speech therapy on Thursday.

My afternoons are spent finishing any work projects that did not get completed, catching up on domestic chores, and then fixing dinner for the family. Wednesday evenings the boys all go to their children's and youth groups at church, so my hubby and I drop them off, enjoy some quality time together, and then pick them up later that evening.

Here are the outfits I wore this past week...

11.2.14 - Morning Church Service - We woke up to very chilly temps and our first snowfall of the season.

Outfit Details:

*Gap Turtleneck Sweater in black - Similar
*La Canadienne Bette Wedge Boots in black suede
*Not shown in the photo, but I also wore my J.Crew Lady Day Coat in black

11.2.14 - Afternoon - Came home and changed, then followed my three youngest boys outside to take pics of them while they played in the snow. I shared the photos on my Instagram, as well as in
this blog post on Friday.

Outfit Details:

*Gap Military Parka - see my review of the jacket here - Similar here and here
*North River Plaid Embroidered Shirt purchased at a local boutique - Similar in black multi
*Sorel Winter Fancy™ Boot - Sorel is selling the Winter Fancy™ II Boot this year, which appears to be the same boot except it does not have the flowers imprinted on it. The boot is also sold at Nordstrom, Amazon, and Anthropologie.

11.3.14 - Still quite cold with snow on the ground, although a lot of it was melting away, leaving it very wet everywhere. Picked Jake up from school and made a trip to Walmart.

11.4.14 - Chilly temps...picked Jake up from class, took Wyatt to therapy, ran by the market to pick up gatorade, ginger ale, and saltine crackers because my youngest son Garrett had a stomach virus.

11.7.14 - I attended a Christmas Open House Event with music, goodies and lots of sales at
The Barn Antiques & Consignment Shop in Bigfork with a friend of mine. This shop is absolutely fabulous, and has an incredible amount of lovely home items, as well as clothing and accessories, too. If you are ever in the area, you really must stop in to take a look. Btw, this outfit looked much better in person...it was difficult to get the skirt to photograph well.

Outfit Details:

*Lands' End Canvas Crewneck Cashmere Sweater in red - Similar here in electric red and here in tomato
*J.Crew 'Vintage' Plaid Skirt - Similar here, here, and here
*La Canadienne Bette Wedge Boots in black suede

11.8.14 - I spent a lazy Saturday morning relaxing in my J.Crew PJ's, then changed into my workout clothes to do my Heavy Bag Routine. I had already planned on cleaning my house today, and decided to just get started right away after exercising, so I ended up spending the rest of the day in my workout clothes...sorry to disappoint, but I'm just keepin' it real. :)

Outfit Details:

*Athleta Runaway Top - Similar

That's it for now...I hope you all have a beautiful and relaxing Sunday!
