Seriously...I can wear them for hours upon hours of standing and walking with no foot pain whatsoever. Granted, they are spendy, so definitely an investment piece, but well worth the money if you can afford a pair. If you're like me, you will will them on a regular basis for many years, so that the CPW (cost per wear) on them ends up being incredibly low.
Here they are on me in a pic I took before Christmas Eve church service last year...
*Isaac Mizrahi Live! Perfect Crystal Bold Stretch Bracelet in silvertone- similar
*La Canadienne Bette Wedge Boots in black suede
*Not shown in the photo, but I also wore my J.Crew Lady Day Coat in black
I bought that one on sale at the end of last year, as well. :)
*Gap Turtleneck Sweater in Heathered Camel - Similar in oatmeal heather
*Madewell Oversized Cargo Vest - I've had this one since it debuted on the website, and have worn it numerous times over the past several months. The quality is excellent, and it has become a staple piece in my wardrobe. Similar here in olive, here in olive covert, and here.
*J.Crew MacAlister Zip Wedge Boots in faded chino. I scored these on super sale a couple weeks ago, and absolutely LOVE them! They come in whole sizes, so I sized up, and the fit is excellent, especially with socks. I've noticed they keep popping back on the J.Crew website just about every day in various sizes, so keep checking for your size to show up if you're interested in getting a pair.
I highly recommend them if you can catch them as a popback!
Similar here in dark taupe, here in slater taupe suede, and here in taupe, or even chestnut would work, too.
*Vince Cropped Baby Bell Jeans (purchased on Ebay a couple years ago) - Similar here, here, and here.
*J.Crew MacAlister Zip Wedge Boots - Similar here in dark taupe, here in slater taupe suede, and here in taupe, or even chestnut would work, too.
*Gold Crossbody Bag purchased at TJ Maxx a few years ago (not the one pictured in the set) - Similar here, here in gold, and here.
*Anthropologie Apiarist Drops - I bought these on sale, along with the matching pendant necklace a few months ago. Similar here, here, and here.
This has become a 'go to' piece that I have worn almost daily over the past several years. It's a good deal with the extra 25% off SHOPTOIT promotion that's going on until 11.17.15, too.
I was born with naturally curly hair, but after the birth of each of my three youngest sons, my hair became increasingly straight and unable to hold curl. I had pretty much given up on ever being able to wear any hairstyle other than an updo, but finally decided to give the WEN Cleansing Conditioner a try in April of 2012 after contemplating it for over a year prior.
What a lifesaver it has turned out to be! All of my natural curl and waves have returned, plus my hair is incredibly soft and much healthier now, too. I had given up on ever being able to wear my hair down again, and now I do every day. It has been quite the life changing experience for me...I wish I had not waited so long to give it a try. :)
I previously mentioned the WEN Cleansing Conditioner here and here, too.)
*Lipstick Queen 'Medieval' Lipstick
I originally blogged about this one here back in March 2010, then again later that year here, and have mentioned it in several other posts since then, too. This is a beautiful red that works well on all skin tones. If you think you cannot wear red lipstick, then give this one a try...I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
*Lancôme 'La Vie est Belle' Eau de Parfum
This has become my 'signature' scent as of late, and I receive compliments every time I wear it. I even bought the shower gel and body lotion so that I could layer the scents...yes, I love it that much!
*Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate bar - YUMMY! Need I say more?
