*Under Armour ColdGear Cozy Neck - I own this in black and rebel pink...absolutely love them! Not only do they do a wonderful job at keeping me warm, but they are very flattering, and I love the cozy turtleneck and thumbholes on the sleeves.

*Cabela's Bayou Pants - Love these! Not only are they incredibly comfortable to wear, but extremely durable, and quite flattering, too. In fact, I now own them in all four camo colors. Yes...I love them that much! They are currently back on sale again, too! These pants do tend to sell out quickly, so if you're thinking about getting a pair (or two), you should do it sooner rather than later. They do run on the larger side, so size down if you can, and use code 16GEAR for free shipping on orders of $49+ until the end of tomorrow.

*UGG Bailey Button Boot in black suede -
I know that UGGS get a bad wrap, but I happen to love this pair! They are so incredibly comfy, plus they keep your feet snuggly warm, AND they're on sale right now, too!

*Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream - I wear this in the light/medium shade on a daily basis over my Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer, and have been very pleased with the way it stays on, and keeps my skin moisturized, instead of feeling dried out by the end of the day, unlike a handful of other products I've tried. In fact, it has become a substitute for my heavier full-coverage foundation. The cream feels incredibly lightweight on your skin, it provides good coverage, and it can be layered under your normal foundation if you feel that you need a bit more camouflage.

*WEN® by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing conditioner

I know that I've previously shared this as one of my favorite things, but it has been such a life changing product for me, that I simply must share again! I was born with naturally curly hair, but after the birth of each of my three youngest sons, my hair became increasingly straight and unable to hold curl. I had pretty much given up on ever being able to wear any hairstyle other than an updo, but finally decided to give the WEN Cleansing Conditioner a try in April of 2012 after contemplating it for over a year prior.
What a lifesaver it has turned out to be! All of my natural curl and waves have returned, plus my hair is incredibly soft and much healthier now, too. I had given up on ever being able to wear my hair down again, and now I do every day. It has been quite the life changing experience for me...I wish I had not waited so long to give it a try. :)

(I previously mentioned the WEN Cleansing Conditioner here and here, too.)

So there you have it, a few of my Favorite Things...what are some of yours?
Please do share...I always love to hear from you! :)

  1. Love those camo pants, cute!

Favorite winter boots are the Ugg Adirondack II boots. I just bought them in a second color, I wear my black ones so much (and they've held up perfectly). They're warm and waterproof and tall enough (I don't wear them cuffed) without being as bulky as Sorels etc.

Lately I'm also loving J. Crew denim (after I complained about it for the last year or two!). The new Matchsticks fit me well and so do a couple of washes in the new Toothpicks.

    1. Thanks cate! I will have to check out the Adironack II boots. I had tried to get a pair of the tall version the year before last but they were sold out, so I went with Sorels instead. I wouldn't mind having a less bulky pair for every day use though. I haven't tried any J.Crew denim this year, as I've mainly been shopping Madewell when I do get a new pair. Will keep them in mind though if I can score a pair on super sale.

Thanks for stopping by! I always love to hear from you! :)

  2. I stop using shampoo over 10 years ago. I worked with a women from Austria who was also a hairstylist, she told me in her country they dont use shampoo. I started out with Wen but after a while I started making my own. I buy chemical free conditioner and put essential oils in it. As a hairstylist, its really very difficult because in my field there aren't very many natural alternatives to hair care. Its all about chemicals, chemicals, and more chemicals. I cringe everytime a client asks me about a product, I honestly tell them to make their own or direct them to the health food store or their kitchen.

    1. Oh dauchka...I would love to make my own! What kind of essential oils though? I'm assuming there are specific kinds for each type of hair? Mine tends to be on the dry end of the spectrum...any advice?
