Madewell Spring 2016 Catalog & New Arrivals - What I'm Loving...

Madewell added the Spring 2016 Catalog to their website, as well as New Arrivals ...
another round of really nice items, and plenty to love again this time, too.

As I've mentioned many times before, I absolutely love Madewell. The casual-vibe of their clothing works well with my lifestyle, the styling on the website stays more to the understated side, the prices are often more affordable than a lot of the retailers offering similar styles, and I love that they always offer Free Shipping on ALL orders, too.
The quality has been good on all the items I have ordered, and the pieces are all holding up very well so far. (I've shared pics of me wearing a couple of the jackets on my Instagram.)

If you haven't ever ordered from Madewell, you should definitely consider giving them a try...
I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how much you like them, too.
Click here to check out the new arrivals, and be sure to take a peek at my personal picks below. :)

What I'm Loving...

That's it for now...what are your thoughts on the new arrivals at Madewell?
Do you have your eye on anything in particular? Please do share! :)

  1. Hi Melissa, this is OT from the Madewell post, but I wanted to leave you a comment here rather than the JCA site about the Chateau Trench! So I just received mine in the Fiery Sunset color and it was thoughtfully and carefully packed, on a hanger, with about 3 yards of tissue paper (i've never ordered a coat from JC so this may be how they treat all such items. If so, wonderful!)

In any case, the color is really nice, an orange-red hue, reminded me a little of that Vivid Flame or whatever that one was called. I love all the details, such as the hood, the lining (the double zipper, not such much) but it's beautifully made.

I WOULD keep it, except for the fit, as the reviews said. i tried the 00 Regular in stores and that fit, except in certain places so I opted for the Petite in an effort to cut down on the extra fabric. I had a feeling this Petite 00 wouldn't fit, but that is all that was available at the time. Sure enough, this one doesn't fit by a long shot -- the sleeves on the blouse I was wearing got all pushed up & i felt like a hanger -- like i was hanging myself by the shoulders, pinned back by the arms!

I have the Barley in a 0P and I'm hoping this one does the trick. I think the orange color is quite striking and festive and might have kept it, had it fit/barley not become available.

Let me know how you fare!

    1. Should clarify to say that I have the Barley in a 0P on its way to me! Hoping for a better fit.

    2. Thanks for the review TM93! It sounds like I am going to love it! The winter version is my favorite coat, so having the same silhouette for spring will be wonderful. I do hope the barley works out for you in the larger size. I know that's the color you wanted to begin with, so fingers crossed it is perfection when it arrives on your doorstep! :)
