This is a salad recipe that my mom has been making our family for many years, and one that I absolutely love. It consists of only 6 ingredients, and is quite simple and easy to make.
Here's what you'll need...
Broccoli Cauliflower Salad with Tomatoes
1 Cup Broccoli Florets - raw
1 Cup Cauliflower Florets - raw
1 Small Package Grape Tomatoes
1 Cup Mild Cheddar Cheese - Shredded
1 Cup Mayonnaise
In a large bowl, combine the broccoli and cauliflower. Cut the grape tomatoes into halves, and add them to the bowl, along with the shredded cheese. Add the mayonnaise to the mixture and stir until all the veggies are covered evenly. Place a lid or saran wrap over the bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. (I prefer to prepare the salad the day prior to serving, to allow the flavors to meld together, and the veggies to soften just a bit).
