Sunday Shopping: GAP *20% Off plus FREE SHIPPING on $50+*

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic weekend! :) This week's *Sunday Shopping* is at GAP, where you can receive 20% off your purchase of Regular and/or Sale Merchandise with code GAP20 at checkout until 11:59 EST on 3.2.10. PLUS...if you spend $50 or more you can also get FREE SHIPPING by using code GAPSHIP50 at checkout, as well.
Sizes will start to get limited very quickly, so if you see something you like it's probably best to grab it right away. So...let's do some window shopping together! :)

Mini-Floral Roll-up Shirt.I really like the print on this one, and one of the reviewers said that the online pic doesn't do it justice, which doesn't surprise me. GAP is another retailer that really needs to rethink their online product images, IMO.

Pop-Over Shirt. This could be a possible alternative to the white Popover shirt at J.Crew...

Mini-Floral Pintucked-Bib Shirt. I like the print on this one, too. The review says it's beautiful IRL, although it looks a little sheer so it may need a cami underneath it.

V-Neck Pocket Tee. I have always found GAP tees to be good quality and they launder well.

Nautical Hoodie. Cute, cute, cute and you all know how I feel about stripes. ;)

The Belted Utility Jacket. I love these belted jackets worn with jeans, as well as a skirt with boots or sandals. This style also comes in Khaki version called *Oak*, as well as in Denim.

Full-Zip Sweater Hoodie. This looks so cozy...

Pure Body Crewneck Hoodie. Great piece for lounging...

The Perfect Khaki Blazer. I love this one...the color, the fit, everything about it.
You can see it on me in THIS post. It also comes in Black.

The Fatigue Skirt. What a great alternative to khaki chinos.

Drawstring Shirt Dress. This one also comes in Khaki and Chambray.

Colorblock Canvas Tote. I love this in the Chambray and the price is fantastic now, especially with the extra 20% off. The tote received 5 stars from each of the 2 reviewers

Vintage Grommet Belt. A nice alternative to the studded belts at J.Crew, and an inexpensive way to wear the stud/grommet trend.

Design Editions for Gap Suede Boots. I love both colors, too.

Havaianas Flip Flops. I have a similar pair of Havaianas in Black and wear them all the time. They are super comfy and easy to wear.

Wood Bracelet with Grommets. Cute, cute, cute.

I also wanted to mention that Gap has numerous chambray shirts for the guys that look really nice including the Indigo Chambray Shirt (perhaps this is a possibility as an alternative to the Selvedge Chambray shirt at J.Crew for us girls, too?)

Do you see anything you're interested in? What do you think of the GAP20 promotion? Do you plan to take advantage of the deal? Do you already own any of these pieces? Please feel free to comment. :)

J.Crew New Arrivals: IRL Pics *Part Three*

All of the following pieces, except for the Blazer and the Chain Flower Tee, have actually been out for a little while, and are currently available online. (It's possible the Chain Flower Tee has been in stores for awhile, but is just now in the March catalog on pg.54.)

J.Crew Philo Eyelet Blouse, item #23483, $78, available in Pale Blossom and White (seen on me in size 0).

Applique' Flower Art Tee, item #25138, $78 (currently on promotion for $62.40), this is the XSmall on me shown under the Sunshine Peonies Cardigan...not sure why I didn't take a pic of it by itself. Probably because I was trying to hurry...

Rumpled Broadcloth Vintage Zebra-stripe Tunic, item# 23222, $69.50, size 0 on me:

Chambray Schoolboy Blazer, item #22547, $158 size 0-14 (also available in Petite 0-12, item #24990). On the hanger and on me in size 2. I didn't think this was very flattering on when buttoned up, and felt it added more volume to my midsection than is actually there. The color is great, the fabric is cotton, it's fully lined, and has long sleeves...just wish the fit was more tailored at the waist.

Chain Flower Tee, item #25602, $49.50, size XS-XL, color Bisque, XSmall on me:

Solid Lieutenant Jacket, item #23815, $98, available in Black and Warm Beechwood seen here on me in size 0. This one is comfortable and a nice weight for Spring. I love the length and it is just *roomy* enough, without looking overly huge. The Beechwood isn't a good color on me, unfortunately, but I would consider getting it in Black.

Are you considering any of these items? Have you seen them IRL? Do you already own any of them? Please feel free to comment. :)

Have a beautiful and blessed day!

J.Crew New Arrivals: IRL Pics *Part Two*

More pics of New Arrivals. :)

J.Crew Metallic Beach Cardigan in Metallic Silver, item #23159, $128.00. No, no, and no on this one...way too rough and scratchy on. The silver was not pretty at all IRL, not to mention it is much shorter than the pic of it on the model in the lookbook. I am only 5'4" tall...

Sunshine Peony Cardigan, item #24938, $98 (I think), size XSmall on me. This is brighter IRL than in the pic...the lighting in the dressing room isn't very good at all, so expect more intense and bold color if you are waiting for this to arrive.

Zebra Print Skirt, item #23002, $68. There is a subtle purple in the stripe that doesn't show up online...very subtle, and very pretty. I believe I have on the size 0 in this picture, but decided on getting the 2 for a little bit of length and room in the backside. It looks as if it is puckering a bit at the front in the pic because I hadn't realized it had pockets that needed to be *unstitched* when I snapped the pic. This one is so cute IRL..I love it for Spring and Summer with sandals and a tank top. :)

Silk-Linen Ruffle Pullover, item #24755, $88, size XSmall on me. This also comes in Soft Sandstone, but all my store had was the Dark Pewter. The ruffles go all the way around the back, and this one is made to be sheer, especially on the arms and upper chest area. It does require a tank to be worn underneath it...I have the perfect fit tank in dark charcoal on under it in this picture.

Heathered Microrib Jaspe' Hoodie, item #23331, $59.50 currently $47.60 online. This is the true Jaspe'...not one with the Merino wool in it. I found this to be more fitted and a tad shorter than it is in the pic of the model on the J.Crew website. I still got my normal XSmall and like the way it fits. I think the Small would have been too *roomy* for my liking in the midsection area. Oh added bonus...the *hood* part of the hoodie isn't heavy at all. :) I didn't get this in the store, but did order it online this morning with the 20% off promotion. This one is really cute layered over tank tops and button downs...not to mention so soft and comfy, too.

Have a wonderful afternoon! :)
