Dump Cake: Delicious and Easy To Make

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend so far! Today I am sharing a recipe for Dump Cake. If you haven't tried this dessert you just absolutely MUST do so! It is extremely easy to make and the end result is absolutely delicious. :)

Things You'll Need:

* 1 box yellow cake mix
* 2 cans baking fruit of your choice.
* 1-2 sticks of butter
* Vanilla ice cream or whipped topping

1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Choose your fruit: apple, cherry, blueberry, peaches, apricot. It's your choice. My favorites are apple and blueberry.

3. Dump your cans of fruit into an ungreased 9x13 inch pan and spread evenly across.

4. Dump your box of dry cake mix on top of the fruit, right from the package. Spread it evenly across.

5. Cut the butter into slices and spread evenly on top of the dry cake mix.

6. Bake 45-50 minutes until lightly browned. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.

  8. Btw ladies: You can use up to 2 sticks of butter to help cover all of the dry cake mix if you like. I know it makes it even more fattening, but using extra will help the pan and dry cake mix get more *coverage*. :)

  9. This sounds sooooo easy and looks soooo good that I think even I can do it! I think I may need to make it for the BF's mom - she's a big fan of the fruity with the ooey gooey. Thanks for sharing!

    (BTW, the LE poplin shirt for me runs approx. 24" long from bottom of the collar to the hem - I'm short so it is long enough for me to tuck in and be able to wear untucked without looking sloppy. Hope this helps!)
