PSA: J.Crew Icon Trench in 'Light Khaki' Back in the Sale Section Today!!!

The J.Crew Icon Trench from last season is back online in the sale section today!!! I picked this up at the end of last year in a size 4 (which was one size up from my 'normal' J.Crew jacket size) and cannot wait to wear it once the weather cools down! The quality is excellent on this one...highly recommend! :)

Have a lovely day!

  1. I am in the market for a trench right now! Like you, I have a brief trench coat season. Definitely no need for wool coats here. I'm torn between this and the Encore trench. Have you tried that one? I can't find much information except that on the Net APorter site, where it's called the Edith trench, it says it is large to size.

  2. I LOVE my Icon. It's the perfect trench coat. I have this older version and it's really just a classic. Worth every penny, which is rare.

Desert Flower -- Tabitha of Bourbon and Pearls did a review of the Encore/Edith trench a while back.

  3. Thanks for stopping by today ladies! :)

Desert Flower: The Icon Trench is really very, very nice quality, and I see it lasting for many years to come. I really am glad that I finally decided to purchase it after several years of contemplating it. :)

I haven't tried the Encore Trench, but like shopwithm said, Tabitha reviewed it several months ago here. HTH! Let me know what you decide. :)

  4. Tabitha was kind enough to help with sizing so I am going to order the Encore Trench. I've been smitten with it ever since seeing it in the look book months ago. I will report back when it arrives, FFM.

  5. Life's Divine did a great review comparing the old style Icon trench to the new one. IMO, the differences are significant enough that they should have renamed the trench. I was able to get a black one on popback a few months ago and I love it. Truly a fantastic coat - I should have purchased it years ago.

  6. Thank you for posting this. I just received my icon trench and i love it every bits. :) What a classic and well made trench coat.
