Spring Wishlist....Footwear

Here's a peek at the Footwear on my Spring Wishlist so far. You will notice that I have several 'multiples' in different colors. Why? Because I know which styles are the most flattering on me, will work best with my wardrobe, and will get the most use over the spring and summer months. You will also notice that almost every item on my list right now is a sandal, and this is due to the fact that I practically 'live' in them once the warm weather months are here.  I have the same colors in a couple of different styles on my list, as well, because some of my outfits call for a 'dressier' shoe option, while others look best with a more casual one.  I do already own three of the pairs in other colors (Navajo, Abitha, and Farley) and they are some of my favorites, so I am looking forward to adding new colors of them to my wardrobe this year. Along with the sandals I have a pair of rain boots listed, as hurricane/rainy season will be here in a couple of months, and that means tons of wet weather and mud, so I know I will get lots of use out of them. :)

Do you have any Footwear items on your Spring Wishlist? Please do share...I always love to hear from you! :)

  1. Great wishlist FFM! I bought a couple of the Navajo sandals last year and lived in them. They are lovely and comfortable and well made. Love sandal weather!

  2. Love all of your choices. I have been in search of the black wedge espadrille...Kate Middleton Style....and I'm currently bidding on a pair of EBay after a longgggg search. Wish me luck!

  3. You're right about the rain boots. I bought a pair of Hunter boots a couple years ago and I love them. I'm so happy to put them on and leave my leather shoes safe and dry in my closet.

  4. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect edgy wedge sandals. I hope to find them this summer!

  5. Love the JR picks. I'm going to pick up a pair in platinum. I have a pair of TB Thora thongs and love them too. My Hunter boots are my favorite. I wear them almost every day (rain or shine!)

    Thanks for your blog!

  6. I like flip flops for the pool but most country clubs demand a more upscale sandal. Espadrilles or a wedge would be nice.

  7. I like your list!
I had some major shoe-buying going on last year so I don't have any shoes on the list for this year...mostly it's suiting basics and some plain tops to go under, as well as a new handbag or two.
I have a pair of Hunter boots that I've had for years... I love them. My wedge sandals for summer are a pair of straw and black Aquatalia sandals with a 4" heel that is amazingly comfortable, other than that I stick to my huge collection of JCrew espadrilles.
Let us know what you choose to add in!

  8. Hi,
I like your choices especially the Navajo sandals, I'm obsessed with the sandals from an obscure Spanish brand Argila because they're so well made, comfortable and they last forever (or at least 2-3 summers without going out of style). I'd also love to get my hands on the Jcrew macalister wedge (for spring) or the Comptoir des Cotonniers wedge boots (Manon) or their western boots. These are some of my favorite picks for spring/summer, I'm including a link to show the Argila sandals (I hope that's okay) that I love.
