Style Simplified: Fall Layers with ModCloth

Those of you who follow me on Instagram, or come by each Sunday for my 'What I Wore...' series know that layering is one of my favorite things to do when it comes to styling outfits, so when the lovely folks at ModCloth asked me to participate in their Fall Layering Challenge,
I naturally said yes.

The ModCloth website has so many cute items that are perfect for layering.
From coats, to sweaters, to dresses, pants, denim, handbags, accessories, and name it, and they've got it covered.

I recently spent a bit of time browsing the ModCloth website, and chose quite a few of their items to complete my layered look for the challenge...

Fall Layers...
Outfit Details:

*ModCloth Year We Go Cardigan - love everything about this...the color palette, the length, the print, not to mention its versatility.
(It also reminds me of a piece I might find on the Sundance website, but for a lot less $$$.)

*ModCloth Relaxed Arrival Top - the tunic length is perfect for wearing over skinny jeans or leggings.

*Escada Sport Pullover Sorbaset - such a lovely option to layer under a sweater, jacket, top, or to simply wear on its own. Please note this is an optional piece in the look, but definitely one I would need to add for our cold weather here in Montana.

*ModCloth Bound to Be Bustling Jeans - the higher rise, smooth front, and slim leg make this pair perfect for wearing under tunics or longer length sweaters.

*Giani Bernini Sterling Silver Hoop Earrings - a true classic that every woman should have in her wardrobe.

*Key to Simplicity Necklace in Silver - such a lovely necklace...simple, understated, and incredibly chic. Be sure to take a look at the IRL pics in the reviews section.

*ModCloth Aim for Adorable Bracelet - adorable is right! Love this one.

*Hammitt Roxbury Fringe Bag in black/black - a perfect accessory to go with the print and style of the cardigan.

*ModCloth Stride Open Spaces Boot in Black - so adorable! Be sure to take a look at the IRL photo they've shared on the website.

*ModCloth Follow in Your Footsteps Boot in Black - love these...unique, excellent reviews, and a great price, too!

Of course this layered look is just one of many that could be styled with all the super cute pieces that ModCloth offers. A few more of my personal picks include the
Free-Spirited Fireside Cardigan, Strike It Richmond Sweater, For the Whinny Dress (check out the video to see how adorable it is), Field Representative Coat, and Off to Tremblant Boot.
They also have a large assortment of super cute sweaters that are perfect for layering. You can check them out here, as well. :)

What are your thoughts on all the lovely layering pieces that ModCloth offers? Have you tried or seen any of them IRL? Do you own any ModCloth items? Please do's always nice to hear your thoughts. :)
