Life Simplified...Thankful Thursday

Life can be difficult or stressful no matter your circumstance...where you live and work, whether you're married or single, have a child, lots of children, or no children at all. I believe that in these times it is extra important to think of all the good things in your life, no matter how small, as it really does help to put your focus on the positive. Instead of being caught up in all the 'bad stuff' happening in your life, it can help to change your attitude into one of gratitude, making your present life and circumstances much more enjoyable.

Today I am sharing 10 more things that I am thankful for this week...

1. The upcoming Christmas Holiday - celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

2. That my three youngest boys did an amazing job in their Christmas program at church.

3. Christmas carols.

4. Gloves & Mittens.

5. Space heaters.

6. Christmas cookies.

7. Christmas lights.

8. Friendly customer service representatives.

9. Free shipping.

10. The Holiday Season.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. I'm thankful for Christmas light, snowy days and squash!

  2. Space heaters! Me, too Melissa. We don't need to run the furnace here very often. The space heaters take the chill off in the morning.

    1. Hi Desert Flower! It's really surprising how incredibly efficient and compact they have become now. Much better than the ones my parents had when I was a kid.

  3. i need to get a space heater and try one. i bet it's just what this place needs.

i'm grateful for so much this christmas, my list is sooooo long. love your list and i'm happy your boys did a good job in their program. isn't that the best?! x

    1. Hi Janet! You can get them quite inexpensively now, and they work really well, too.

There really is SO much to be thankful for, isn't there? The boys are absolutely thrilled that they did so well, and had such a great time performing, too.
