What I Wore...11.23.15

We had another bit of a warm up last weekend, but then received a lot of snowfall on Tuesday. Knowing that we were going to get snowed on quite heavily, and that the Thanksgiving Holiday was coming up on Thursday, my husband and I made a trip to the market to get supplies for our Thanksgiving meal. The temperature was fairly mild, so I once again took advantage of the warmer temps to wear an outfit that did not require a sweater, coat, or parka to keep me from freezing.

This outfit is the one I wore to run errands this past Monday, 11.23.15. The jeans were purchased early on this year, but all the other pieces have been in my wardrobe for many years now. As I mentioned in this post a couple weeks ago, I had spent most of that Saturday cleaning out my closet, trying on my fall & winter clothing items to see what still fits, and even styling a couple of new looks.
This outfit happens to be one those new looks...

The Details:

*Brown Faux Suede Blazer (purchased at local second hand shoppe last year)

*Gap Cotton/Cashmere Black Turtleneck (purchased two years ago)
- similar here in black and here

*Brighton Braided Black Leather Bracelet - similar here and here
*Brown Studded Leather Belt with Silver Buckle (purchased at consignment shoppe two years ago)
- similar here, here in brown, and here

*Baggallini Crossbody Bag (gifted to me from my mom a couple years ago) - similar here and here

*Ariat Fatbaby Boots in distressed brown. Love these boots! So extremely comfortable, with no break-in time whatsoever, and they come in a large variety of colors, too.

On me:

How has the weather been where you live? Have you done the seasonal wardrobe switch out yet? Did you discover any new outfits like I did? Have you purchased any new items recently?
Please do share...I always love to hear from you!

That's it for now...have a lovely day! :)

  1. Look at you all cowgirl!! No more FFM!! Love your outfit. It has been cold here and snowy, so I am in full coat and boot mode. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

    1. Heehee...thanks JRS! You know, I still live in maxi-dresses in the summer, but during fall and winter I'm all about the blazers, coats, and boots. Feels like I've been waiting my entire life to live someplace I can actually wear them on a regular basis, so you know I take full advantage of it! Thanks for the Happy Thanksgiving wishes! I hope you and your family had a wonderful one, as well! :)
