Nordstrom Review: BLANKNYC 'Vegan Diet' Draped Jacket

The BLANKNYC 'Vegan Diet' Draped Jacket comes in sizes XSmall - Large, and is available for purchase at Nordstrom.

Details from the Nordstrom website:

Inky faux leather details the spacious hood and long sleeves of an open-front jacket crafted from a sumptuous blend of cotton and wool.

41" front length; 31" back length (size Medium).
No closure.
53% cotton, 40% acrylic, 7% wool with 100% polyurethane contrast.
Dry clean or machine wash cold, dry flat.
By BLANKNYC; imported.

This draped jacket is a mix of sweater material in the bodice and faux leather on the lower portion of the sleeves and hood. The majority of the reviews on the Nordstrom website are positive, giving it an overall 4.5 star rating, and I happen to agree with them.

On me in size XSmall...

The jacket drapes nicely, feels substantial in weight, and is quite comfortable on the body. I love the length, and the faux-leather accents. Now I doubt that the faux-leather will be mistaken for the real thing, but it is still really cute, nonetheless.

The sleeves on the XSmall are too snug for me to wear anything underneath it other than a sleeveless shirt, although I was able to fit a thinner long sleeve jersey tee underneath. I think that I'm going to try a size Small to see if the sleeves will fit better, without losing the drape and fit in the body. If you have thin arms I would suggest getting your normal size, otherwise try sizing up to be able to layer underneath it.

The jacket is perfect for wearing during the fall and winter months, but will also transition easily into spring worn over a tank top with jeans and sandals. The quality is good over all, and shipping at Nordstrom is always free, as are returns, so it's basically risk-free to give it a try.

What are your thoughts on the BLANKNYC 'Vegan Diet' Draped Jacket? Have you seen it in person or tried it on? Do you already own it, or perhaps plan on giving it a try?
Please do share...I always love to hear from you!
