Anthropologie - Pretty Little Dresses...

As I've mentioned numerous times before, I absolutely love wearing dresses...
they make me feel extra feminine and girly.
They bring to mind images of Audrey Hepburn, Jackie O., Marilyn Monroe, and Elizabeth Taylor.
A time of glamour and ultimate femininity for desire to *borrow from the boys*, but to simply embrace the joy of being a girl, and all that goes with it.
In most cases (depending on the dress) they can be just as comfortable as wearing pants or jeans, too. It's really just a matter of getting used to wearing them on a regular basis, IMO. :)

For me, Anthropologie is my *go-to* store when I'm considering the purchase of a new dress, or when I simply want to window shop and daydream about what I would do or the places I would go in it. Here are some of the pretty little dresses currently topping my list...

How do you feel about dresses? Do you wear them often? Have you found any lately that you absolutely adore? Do you have any pretty little dresses on your Anthropologie wishlist? Do you own any of the dresses on mine? Are there any you would highly recommend?
Do tell...always fun to hear from you!

  1. Hi Melissa, how are you? Come true spring and summer time here in NY, I don't wear anything but dresses or skirts! All my pants and jeans go into hibernation -- can't stand the feel of fabric of my legs when it's hot & sticky out.

I was recently in an Anthro looking for a gift from their home section so I saw a few of these dresses, very pretty! That paleta dress didn't stand out to me IRL as much as it did online for some reason. I did like the Swing Dress more than i thought I would (but I must confess that I am not really Anthro's ideal/target customer -- their stuff swings too bohemian for me.) Also, if we're being really honest, their pricing is usually out of my league! But not only that, some of the quality is not always there, especially for what they charge.

Hope you're having a good week!

    1. Hi TM93! I'm doing about you? Don't you just love dresses for spring and summer? They are pretty much all I wear, too. Especially maxi dresses. They are my absolute fave! Thanks for the info on the Anthro paletta and swing dresses. I agree that the prices there are often way too spendy, especially for the quality on some of the items. That really seems to be the case pretty much everywhere these days though. It takes a whole lot of trial and error to find a gem in a boatload of shopping coal. Thanks for stopping by...hope you have a great rest of your week, as well! :)
