Cooking Simplified: Gooey Chocolate Butter Cake

As I'm sure you have all realized, the Holiday Season is rapidly approaching...
this happens to be my absolute favorite time of year!
Now Thanksgiving Day is really just around the corner, so I thought I would once again share a recipe with you that I especially like to bake this time of year.
The recipe comes from the kitchen of a good friend...
Gooey Chocolate Butter Cake.
This is so absolutely delicious, not to mention super sweet and decadent...
guaranteed to be a hit for any occasion.

1 Egg
1 Stick of Butter, Melted

Combine above ingredients and press into the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking pan.

Prepare the Filling:

1 8oz. Package Cream Cheese, Softened
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Stick Butter, Melted

Beat Cream Cheese until smooth, add Eggs, and Vanilla. Add Butter and mix well. Add Confectioners Sugar. Pour over cake mixture.

Top It Off:

1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (I prefer to use Milk Chocolate Chips myself)

Sprinkle chips evenly on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. DO NOT overbake. The cake should be gooey somewhat in the center. As it cools, it will set up.

(Prepare to have your teeth hurt!)
