Cooking Simplified: Blueberries in the Snow

This dessert is one from my childhood...Blueberries in the Snow. I happened to think about it again a couple months ago, and decided to make it myself. I will tell you that it quickly became a family favorite, as my hubby and boys all love it as much as I did growing up.
It's super easy to make, and the results are delicious.
Be forewarned will disappear quickly!


*1 16oz. container Cool Whip
*1 8oz. Package Cream Cheese
*1 Angel Food Cake -
I have been making my own Angel Food Cake (from a box) for this dessert. I have tried the Great Value mix, Betty Crocker mix, and the Duncan Hines mix, and I can honestly say that out of all 3 the best one was the Great Value brand. I will be making the dessert again this week, but plan to make my cake from scratch this time. I will let you know how it turns out. :)


Mix Cool Whip and Confectioner's Sugar together. Add softened
Cream Cheese, and beat until smooth and creamy. Spread mixture over the Angel Food Cake, then pour the Blueberry Pie Filling over the top. (It will naturally begin to make it's way down the sides of the snow cake.) Chill for 2 hours and serve. Easy peasy, and oh so incredibly delicious!!!
